Hiking program*Monday - Dahn circular hiking trailThe trail leads past the cemetery of honor to St. Michael's Chapel. Behind Altdahn Castle, a path leads across the Wiesental valley up to the Römerfelsen rock. Over the Lachberg you head towards Jungfernsprung (the 70 m high landmark of the town of Dahn) and then back to the hotel. Approx. 12km, 3-4 hours walking time.
Tuesday - Neudahn CastleWe walk towards Kauert and after a short time reach the ruins of Neudahn Castle. The path leads down through the rock gate into the Moosbach valley. We return to the hotel along the nature reserve. Approx. 12km, 3-4 hours walking time.
Wednesday - Dahner FelsenpfadDirectly at the hotel, the trail leads up to the Wachtfels with the first view over Dahn. We enjoy further beautiful viewpoints via the Pfaffenfels and Schwalbenfelsen rocks. From there, we hike along narrow paths into the unique rock arena. We return to the hotel via Kauert and Steinhohlweg. Approx. 12km, 3-4 hours walking time.
Thursday - Hahnfels tourFrom the spa gardens, we head towards Altdahn Castle to reach the start of the Hahnfels tour. We cross the beautiful village of Erfweiler and climb up to the Hahnfels with a wonderful view, continuing to the village view. Narrow paths take us past rocks; finally the path leads us over the Kahlenberg to Wasgaublick. Now we cross the valley back towards the hotel. Approx. 14km, 4-5 hours walking time.
Friday - Altdahn CastleWe walk from the spa gardens to the Hochstein viewpoint. The path leads along the rocks towards the Altdahn-Grafendahn-Tanstein castle massif. Here we continue to the beautiful castle view before returning to the hotel via the south side of the Hochstein
massif. Approx. 7km, 2-3 hours walking time.

All hikes are suitable for experienced hikers as well as beginners.
Depending on the weather and altitude, it can get cooler or warmer during the tours. We recommend wearing clothing according to the onion principle. Depending on the weather, please remember to bring rain and sun protection - headgear, sun cream, light gloves and a scarf.
Some of the hikes lead over roots, sandstone, steps, narrow paths and, depending on the tour, can be high in altitude; hiking poles can provide support if necessary. We recommend closed/tread-proof footwear.
