For nearly 40 years, the family of Dr. Manfred Maus has been running the 4* Superior Hotel PFALZBLICK WALD SPA RESORT with a keen sense of their guests’ needs and the region’s treasures. True to the motto “Relaxation is celebrating a break,” the resort launched extensive renovations in 2019 and now features a 61,000-square-meter garden area with an adjacent, on-site wooded area complete with a natural swimming pond, an outdoor sauna island, and a new two-story panoramic building featuring a year-round heated outdoor infinity pool and spacious relaxation areas. Health advice and clothing
Good to know: Please inform your teacher or take a break during individual lessons if you have any health restrictions. Singing bowl classes are not suitable for people with hearing aids or pacemakers.
All yoga sessions can be attended by advanced yogis as well as athletic beginners.
Depending on the structure of the class, some of the aerial yoga sessions involve inverted postures. To protect yourself and the cloth: Please refrain from wearing jewelry, clothing with zippers or sleeveless tank tops during aerial yoga.
Please be prepared for the classes to vary and for it to be warmer (more dynamic class) or cooler (yin yoga/final relaxation) depending on the type of class. We recommend wearing clothing according to the onion principle. You are welcome to bring a vest/sweater that you can put on and take off comfortably over your yoga shirt. There are also plenty of woolen blankets in the room.
Yoga is usually practiced barefoot, without shoes or socks. For gentler practices such as yin yoga or sound relaxation, you are welcome to bring thick, cozy socks.
For the gentle mindfulness hike, we recommend closed-toe or slip-resistant shoes.

Monday - Dahn circular hiking trail
The trail leads past the cemetery of honor to St. Michael's Chapel. Behind Altdahn Castle, a path leads across the Wiesental valley up to the Römerfelsen rock. Over the Lachberg you head towards Jungfernsprung (the 70 m high landmark of the town of Dahn) and then back to the hotel. Approx. 12km, 3-4 hours walking time.

Tuesday - Neudahn Castle
We walk towards Kauert and after a short time reach the ruins of Neudahn Castle. The path leads down through the rock gate into the Moosbach valley. We return to the hotel along the nature reserve. Approx. 12km, 3-4 hours walking time.

Wednesday - Dahner Felsenpfad
Directly at the hotel, the trail leads up to the Wachtfels with the first view over Dahn. We enjoy further beautiful viewpoints via the Pfaffenfels and Schwalbenfelsen rocks. From there, we hike along narrow paths into the unique rock arena. We return to the hotel via Kauert and Steinhohlweg. Approx. 12km, 3-4 hours walking time.

Thursday - Hahnfels tour
From the spa gardens, we head towards Altdahn Castle to reach the start of the Hahnfels tour. We cross the beautiful village of Erfweiler and climb up to the Hahnfels with its wonderful views, then on to the Dorfblick. Narrow paths take us past rocks; finally the path leads us over the Kahlenberg to Wasgaublick. Now we cross the valley back towards the hotel. Approx. 14km, 4-5 hours walking time.

Friday - Altdahn Castle
We walk from the spa gardens to the Hochstein viewpoint. The path leads along the rocks towards the Altdahn-Grafendahn-Tanstein castle massif. Here we continue to the beautiful castle view before returning to the hotel via the south side of the Hochstein massif. Approx. 7km, 2-3 hours walking time.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Pfalzblick war rundum wundervoll. Sowohl die gesamte Hotelanlage, das schöne Ambiente, das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal als auch die Gastronomie und die vielfältigen Wellnessmöglichkeiten haben uns sehr begeistert. Man hat sich von Anfang an gut aufgehoben und fast schon wie zu Hause gefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die durchweg hohe Sauberkeit, sowohl in den Zimmern als auch in den gesamten Pool- und Wellnessbereichen. Das Pfalzblick-Inklusivpaket empfanden wir als besonders angenehm, da man sich um kaum etwas Gedanken machen musste und einfach abschalten konnte. Man wurde rundum versorgt und konnte den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen. Auch die bereitgestellten Wellnesstaschen mit Handtüchern und Bademänteln waren eine schöne Aufmerksamkeit. Wir waren im Zimmer „Lindengrün“ untergebracht und waren von der Ausstattung, dem geschmackvollen Design und der Sauberkeit wirklich begeistert. Man konnte ankommen, sich zurücklehnen und sich direkt wohlfühlen. Auch das gastronomische Angebot hat uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Besonders das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet mit seinen hochwertigen Wurst- und Käsevariationen, frischen Brötchen, verschiedenen Aufstrichen, Räucherlachs, Salaten und der großen Müsliauswahl ließ kaum Wünsche offen. Eines unserer persönlichen Highlights war die Gemüse- und Saftpresse. Wir schätzen es sehr, dass das Hotel so viel Wert auf eine ausgewogene und gesunde Ernährung legt, was sich auch in der Auswahl der Speisen widerspiegelt. Natürlich durfte auch die leckere Kaffee- und Kuchenzeit nicht fehlen, bei der man sich gerne mal ein Stückchen Kuchen gönnen konnte. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt betrifft lediglich das abendliche Fünf- beziehungsweise Sechs-Gänge-Menü. Einige Gänge hätten für unseren Geschmack etwas intensiver abgeschmeckt sein können, da es stellenweise an Salz oder einer gewissen Süße fehlte. Insgesamt war das Essen aber wirklich sehr lecker und qualitativ hochwertig. Besonders begeistert waren wir außerdem von der gesamten Wellnesslandschaft. Das Badehaus war sehr gepflegt, sauber und in einem wunderschönen Ambiente gestaltet. Sowohl die Saunainsel als auch der Familienbereich haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Saunabereich im Familienbereich, der durch seinen mediterranen, römisch angehauchten Architekturstil eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre ausstrahlt. Die warmen Farben und die liebevolle Gestaltung vermitteln ein Gefühl von Ruhe und Geborgenheit, sodass man einfach die Seele baumeln lassen konnte. Alles in allem war es für uns ein rundum gelungener Wellnessaufenthalt. Man merkt, dass im Hotel Pfalzblick viel Wert auf Qualität, Sauberkeit, Gastfreundschaft und das Wohlbefinden der Gäste gelegt wird. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit wohlgefühlt, konnten wunderbar abschalten und den Alltag für eine Weile hinter uns lassen. Genau so stellt man sich einen erholsamen Wellnessurlaub vor. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Ich hatte einen rundum wunderbaren Wellness-Aufenthalt und habe mich vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Massage – sie war mit Abstand die beste, die ich jemals hatte! Es hat einfach alles gepasst, ich habe absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Ein echtes Rundum-sorglos-Paket zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen. Ich komme definitiv wieder und kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
