The Große Walsertal Biosphere Reserve is located in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg and extends in the middle of Vorarlberg in an easterly to north-easterly direction towards the mountainous center of the province. In 2000, the Große Walsertal was designated a model region by UNESCO as a "biosphere park" due to its particularly outstanding and diverse nature. At Tuberis, we not only work on your special moments of relaxation every day, but also try to cultivate a sustainable lifestyle in a variety of ways and with full conviction. We achieve this, among other things, with our photovoltaic system, which supplies us with electricity from the sun. We also use Venosta wood as a source of heat in the wood chip system, obtain many of our groceries directly from our own garden or cattle shed and for the rest we try to use zero-kilometer products whenever possible.
