The traditional building from 1446 has been 90 percent renovated in recent years - the popular historic corners of the Parkhotel Adler, such as the parlor in the "Adler Stuben" restaurant, have been preserved. Countless locations on the 70,000 square meter estate with a small lake invite you to linger in comfort. These include the stylish hotel lobby with integrated bar and conservatory, the sunny restaurant terrace and the benches in the park with woodland and duck pond.

The park of the boutique resort hotel proves to be a rare refuge. It also forms the green backdrop for the modern glass construction of the wellness pavilion and the outdoor pool area with lounge and sunbathing lawn. Choose one of the 64 accommodations in an elegant boutique hotel style - all recently renovated. No two accommodation units in the hotel are the same - some have a balcony or terrace with a view of the greenery. The accommodation is located in different parts of the Black Forest House dating from 1639 or in the Belle Époque main building from the 19th century.

In the five individually designed rooms of the "Adler Stuben" restaurant in the Schwarzwaldhaus, Baden specialties and international seasonal dishes are served - in the very own interpretation of kitchen director and spice sommelier Bernhard König, who comes from the region and is committed to the Slow Food® philosophy. Original Ayurveda from Sri Lanka! Original Ayurveda treatments have been offered at the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee for more than 20 years. The Ayurveda center is integrated on a separate floor of the hotel and an Ayurveda doctor and specialists from Sri Lanka, the country of origin, carry out the holistic treatments. This means you can experience an Ayurveda cure with authentic treatments and experience the traditional philosophy of this millennia-old health teaching. The Ayurveda treatments, which last several days, include consultations, original Ayurveda treatments and the Ayurvedic nutritional concept. The team of therapists from Sri Lanka takes a sensitive and professional approach to the special needs and life situations of each individual guest, making each individual Ayurveda treatment a lasting pleasure.

Culinary: The aim of the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee is to offer hospitality at the highest level. This includes not only the best regional ingredients, but also imaginative creations. The legendary Vier Jahreszeiten gourmet breakfast buffet, for example, provides top-class indulgence, including a wide selection of gluten-, lactose- and dairy-free products. Welcome to the Gartenhotel Moser, which is located directly on the large Montiggl lake. The forest, water and garden are the defining elements of a successful vacation here. In April 2024, the garden hotel will come back to life after a comprehensive renovation. Sustainable construction methods and energy recovery, large window fronts that open up views of the surroundings and green wooden struts on the exterior façade allow the hotel to merge with nature. All public areas such as the lobby, restaurant and 18 suites have a completely new look with lots of wood, stone and warm, earthy colors. The highlight of the hotel is the new adults-only infinity pool with relaxation rooms and fitness studio on the roof.

Family-run business
The hotel has been owned by the Moser family for over 60 years. The lush gardens with winding paths, birdwatching station, hidden power spots and natural bathing pond, which invite you to relax all around, gave the hotel its name. With its location in the middle of a nature reserve, it is ideal for a short or longer break. While the neighboring Lake Kaltern is widely known as a vacation destination, the two Montiggl lakes are still real insider tips. "We are really looking forward to delighting guests again with the new Gartenhotel Moser and our unique location," says Wolfgang Moser. Together with his wife Christine, he has been running the business for around 40 years. While Wolfgang, as a visionary, is constantly driving forward new projects and offers, Christine, as hostess, enriches the hotel with her heart and passion. With her empathy for people and nature, she provides a calming influence for a feel-good atmosphere.

Welcome to Wellness
Time out with a view: The wellness highlight from 2024 is the adults-only infinity pool on the roof of the hotel. A wide range of spa and activity options with Ayurveda and yoga elements as well as a stylish sauna area complete the wellness concept.
"Sanum per aquam" - health through water is the title of the hotel's spa menu. In addition to classic massages and beauty treatments, the spa team also offers treatments in the floating lounger with algae, Himalayan salt or honey butter; special baths and a private spa suite provide moments of togetherness. Ayurvedic health treatments also enrich the spa menu: Abhyanga massages and forehead pours promote inner peace and invigoration of mind and body. Families are also very welcome at the Gartenhotel Moser. The hotel's outdoor area boasts another pool with a water slide and integrated children's pool as well as an indoor pool.

Relaxation in harmony with the elements
Thanks to its close connection with nature, the Gartenhotel Moser is a place of inspiration for mind and body. Hostess Christine Moser knows about the intensive effect of the surrounding power places and is intensively involved with local herbs and the associated medicine. She is happy to pass this knowledge on to her guests in workshops on detoxification, superfoods and medicinal plants. In addition, three yoga and meditation classes are held in the mornings five days a week. Each day of the week is dedicated to an element: on Mondays, for example, everything revolves around the theme of air with courses on correct breathing techniques. Fire, earth and water are further themes under which workshops on movement and relaxation are bundled. Cocoa ceremonies, sound baths and special meditation sessions also take place to accompany special phases of the moon. All offers take place in the Anima yoga room or in the garden or on the lakeshore. From 2024, an in-house fitness trainer will join the team and offer sunrise hikes, aqua fitness and sports classes.

Breaking new ground architecturally
For the redesign of the four-star superior garden hotel, the entire former entrance area gave way to a new, modern building. Visually, it matches the "Ramus" extension built in 2014 and forms an ensemble of several buildings. A linear structure divided into horizontal and vertical elements allows the two parts to merge into a harmonious whole. Authentic, warm and appreciative - this is how the hosts and their team treat their guests and the surrounding nature. The close interweaving with flora and fauna is reflected not only in the large garden, but also in the architecture and energy concept. Natural materials, earthy colors, green areas and a heat recovery system are evidence of a sustainable approach.
The reception and entrance hall shine in an elegant and contemporary style. All public spaces and the new rooms have been architecturally designed with fresh ideas. Functional yet elegant solutions in harmony with the forest and garden are reflected in the building structure as part of the renovation. The entire appearance of the outdoor area with green spaces, natural walkways and pond landscapes is visually adapted to the landscape.

Nature in the bedroom
Guests in the countryside: floor-to-ceiling windows were installed behind the braced façade design. The aim - to capture the surrounding panorama and bring it into the room. From the outside, beige and brown tones define the façade. A similar color scheme enriches the atmosphere in the rooms. There are also deep green tones and floral elements. All new room types have a luxurious bathing area and spacious terraces invite you to take a deep breath outdoors.

Sustainability in a nature reserve
Not only a harmonious ambience, but also a respectful approach to the environment is a major concern for the Moser family. The new building is therefore based on an ecological and sustainable construction method. When selecting the materials, Christine and Wolfang Moser paid particular attention to natural, local elements such as natural wood, stone cladding and clay plaster. In addition, the façades are clad with rhombus slats and vertical wooden elements, which serve as a trellis for plants and green the building. Due to the sensitive area in a nature reserve, bird protection glass was also used to minimize reflective surfaces. From a technological point of view, the hotel impresses with its sustainable construction and environmentally friendly energy measures. The energy supply for the entire building is recovered from the hotel's own waste water system. A special filter-exchanger system extracts the heat from the hotel waste water and uses a heat pump to bring it up to the required temperature level. Solar energy is also incorporated into the energy concept - there is a photovoltaic system in the area of the new flat roof.

Delicacies from their own farm
Farming has always been both a tradition and a passion for the Moser family. Apples, pears and grapes come from their own production. Delicious wines come from the Moser winery and beer from the family brewery, which is located directly in the wine cellar. In the three-quarter board light, which the Gartenhotel Moser offers as standard, local products play the leading role. This includes an extensive breakfast buffet and a "little light lunch" from the show kitchen with hot and cold dishes. Homemade cakes are served in the afternoon and a five-course menu in the evening. Themed specials such as barbecue evenings or fish starter buffets also surprise guests. Once a week, when the dessert buffet is served, those with a sweet tooth get their money's worth.

Active and moving
The wonderful nature that surrounds the Gartenhotel Moser is best experienced actively. Accordingly, the hotel offers numerous opportunities for time out and adventure. The hotel's own lake house with sunbathing lawn on the large Montiggl lake is ideal for swimming, stand-up paddling or canoeing. Thanks to the mild climate, the region is ideal for cycling tours or hiking excursions even in spring. Families with children can enjoy the benefits of childcare up to seven days a week. Active guests also get their money's worth outside the hotel. The area is closely linked to the South Tyrolean Wine Road, which winds through the municipality of Eppan just six kilometers away. The popular Lake Kaltern, the warmest bathing lake in the Alps, is just two kilometers away as the crow flies. Many hiking trails, from gentle to challenging, criss-cross the area. The lake hike, which completely circles the large and small Monticolo/Montiggler lakes, is particularly popular. In addition to activities such as canoeing, stand-up paddling or cycling on a mountain bike or e-bike, golf enthusiasts can pursue their passion at the Eppan, Petersberg and Sarnonico golf clubs. Vespas or a speedy Fiat 500 convertible are also available for slightly longer excursions. Tennis fans can practice their serve right in the Montiggl village, while beach volleyball and soccer can be played on the hotel grounds.
