Aunt Lisl already knew: in addition to mountains and well-fluffed pillows, you also need a good feeling, a cozy place to relax, an open heart and good food for a really good stomach feeling. That was over 70 years ago.
Since then, we as a family have gone many new ways - always with the aim of preserving this special feeling of home and rethinking vacation for you. The small forest guesthouse has grown into our Hotel Gassner 4* Superior - and the pretty Gassner tree house too. On at least five guided hikes, we - hiking guide and boss Hans-Peter Gassner - will take you on a journey of discovery: through blooming alpine pastures, over perpetual ice, up to the region's panoramic peaks. In winter, we are happy to accompany you on snowshoe and winter hikes to the idyllic snow-covered places of the Hohe Tauern National Park - and show you personally how renewing it can be to walk at eye level with nature.

Wonderfully close to nature - and also a little off the beaten track. 147 m² all to yourselves. A retreat for newlyweds, longtime lovers and the whole family. When it comes to deep relaxation and genuine closeness, you need a particularly cozy place on this earth - and so our dream of an extraordinary vacation nest can also become yours.
There are many beautiful houses. But the most important thing is the people who live in them, laugh together and do their best together. So feel free to speak from the heart and meet us at eye level.
