Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is the ‘Land of the Blue Element’ and, with over 2,000 km of coastline and the Mecklenburg Lake District, offers an unrivalled setting for those seeking wellness. The region’s leading spa resorts make the most of this location for maritime therapies such as thalassotherapy and offer extensive wellness facilities right by the water.
Inland, in the “Land of a Thousand Lakes”, you’ll find retreats amidst unspoilt nature. It’s the ideal place to start the day with a morning yoga session on the jetty or to relax in the panoramic sauna after a canoe trip.
Feel the healing power of the sea
On the coast, wellness in its purest form awaits you. The fresh, iodine-rich sea air invigorates the mind and respiratory system, whilst exclusive thalassotherapy treatments using genuine seawater, seaweed and sea buckthorn revitalise you. Whether amidst the magnificent spa architecture of the imperial spas on Usedom or just beyond the wild dunes of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula – the sea is your constant companion.
Let yourself be carried along by the rhythm of the waves and find your own personal happiness by the water.
