asanas can be experienced in a completely new and playful way.

Enjoy your time out and experience the beneficial effects of aerial yoga on your body, mind and soul. With the help of the cloth, you will be able to perform asanas that you may never have thought possible otherwise. Your spine and intervertebral discs can literally breathe a sigh of relief in the inverted positions, creating space. Relaxation and meditation are also experienced in a completely new way - light and floating.
In Aerial Yin, the cloth hangs only around 20 cm above the floor and you immerse yourself in the individual postures for around 5 minutes. The focus here is on stretching the deep layers of our tissue.
Relaxation techniques such as meditation and breathing exercises during the sessions as well as yoga nidra and soundor dream journey in the evening, combined with high-quality essential oil, round off the program.

The retreat is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners and takes place from 5 participants. Places are limited to 10 people!
Aerial yoga is not suitable for people with high blood pressure, increased intraocular pressure or during pregnancy.
About the retreat leader:
I am Sonia, a family person and mother of 2 grown up daughters, I like to hang in the air but also have both feet firmly on the ground.
I completed my first yoga teacher training over 2 years with more than 700 hours from 2012-2014 in the Sivananda tradition. Since then I have been teaching my own classes regularly in my hometown as well as for various studios or other providers. I like to think outside the box and have attended various further training courses in other yoga styles - this is how I came to aerial yoga in 2018, among other things. This play with the lightness of the element of air, but also with gravity, fascinated me from the very beginning. Since 2020 I have been offering retreats in this area and since 2022 I have been leading the Aerial Basic training for the Balance Yoga Studios in Frankfurt and Mainz.
