An established hotel: the Riedlberg has been owned by the Graßl and Mühlbauer families since 1912 and has been carefully expanded from a small mountain inn to a 4-star superior wellness hotel, yet has remained manageable with 58 rooms and suites.

Since 2020, our guests have also been able to rent e-mountain bikes or an e-car for excursions directly on site.
Our feel-good dreamland covers 5000 square meters with indoor pool (31°) and whirlpool (36°), year-round infinity pool (31°), as well as year-round brine pool (36°). Our winter guests are in for a special treat: you can use the hotel's own ski lift and toboggan run right outside the front door free of charge when the snow conditions are right - ski school and ski rental are located right on the slope.

In addition to the breathtaking surroundings, the indoor area impresses above all with its professionalism and authenticity. The versatile spa and wellness landscape extends over a total of 4,000 m². The extensive pool landscape has a large indoor pool with integrated bubble loungers and massage jets as well as a splash shower. The panoramic whirlpool offers a fantastic view of the idyllic landscape from above. Depending on the weather, the outdoor pool can be used through the airlock. The sauna area has two outdoor log cabin saunas with a natural biotope, Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam baths, Himalayan salt grotto, Kneipp pool and relaxation rooms. There is a separate ladies' sauna area with bio-sauna and loungers in the beauty pavilion. Anyone who takes a sauna, works out or swims laps naturally needs some well-earned relaxation afterwards. Comfortable loungers and double loungers with a fantastic view over the Black Forest and the beautiful sun terraces invite you to relax. There are also quiet islands for two to four people.

For more relaxation, there is a wide range of soothing treatments to choose from: massages, facial or body treatments, baths and wraps or traditional wellness rituals - alone or as a couple. The signature treatments from nature are also unique, such as special treatments with wild herbs from the Black Forest, massages with warm granite stones and fir oil or rubdowns with pine cones.

Original Ayurveda from Sri Lanka! Original Ayurveda treatments have been offered at the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee for more than 20 years. The Ayurveda center is integrated on a separate floor of the hotel and an Ayurveda doctor and specialists from Sri Lanka, the country of origin, carry out the holistic treatments. This means you can experience an Ayurveda cure with authentic treatments and experience the traditional philosophy of this millennia-old health teaching. The Ayurveda treatments, which last several days, include consultations, original Ayurveda treatments and the Ayurvedic nutritional concept. The team of therapists from Sri Lanka takes a sensitive and professional approach to the special needs and life situations of each individual guest, making each individual Ayurveda treatment a lasting pleasure.

Culinary: The aim of the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee is to offer hospitality at the highest level. This includes not only the best regional ingredients, but also imaginative creations. The legendary Vier Jahreszeiten gourmet breakfast buffet, for example, provides top-class indulgence, including a wide selection of gluten-, lactose- and dairy-free products. At lunchtime and in the afternoon, Café Gugelhupf invites you to enjoy small dishes and a large selection of cakes from the in-house patisserie. In the evening, 6-course menus with vegetarian / vegan alternatives or delicious à la carte dishes are offered in the panorama restaurant. The restaurant "Am Kachelofen" offers varied buffets with the best from the hotel's home region, the Black Forest, as part of the half-board (open depending on occupancy). In the cold winter months, the Schwiizer Stübli also opens for rustic fondue evenings. The evening ends with delicious cocktails at the carousel bar.
