Indulgence is a top priority at the Good Life Resort Riederalm: Look forward to culinary delights created by host and head chef Andreas Herbst using regional and seasonal ingredients. His creative, experimental cuisine has already been awarded one Michelin star, one Green Michelin star and four Gault&Millau toques; Andreas Herbst is also a member of the renowned "Jeunes Restaurateurs d' Europe" association.

Some of our guests came across Hotel Deimann by chance: They have "discovered" our hotel while driving through the Sauerland. Five days a week, we invite you on a special culinary journey of discovery through ...liebes Rot-Flüh, where you can dine in our restaurants at no extra charge. Start your day with an unobstructed view of Lake Haldensee in our breakfast room. The aroma of fresh bread and pastries fills the air. Our breakfast chef will prepare eggs from happy chickens from the region for you or you can try our deliciously healthy porridge, which provides plenty of energy despite being low in calories. At lunchtime, you can dine in the Grotto Vale Pino or on the pool terrace, where quality Alpine products are prepared with plenty of Mediterranean sophistication. In the afternoon, you can enjoy coffee and a variety of cakes from our in-house patisserie in the Montanara Hall. In the evening, you have a free choice between gastronomic excellence in "La Cascata nobile" or a delicious 3-course menu, which you can select from our a la carte menu in the "Via Mala" experience restaurant. You can also bring the day to a tasteful close with a traditional fondue evening.

Are you a true child of nature and just as drawn to the outdoors as we are? Wonderful, because as a member of the best hiking hotels in the Alps, our main aim is to find strength and inspiration in nature all year round.
On at least 5 guided hikes, we, hiking guide Monika and boss Hans-Peter Gassner, would like to introduce you to the diversity of nature in the surrounding mountains, hike with you through blooming alpine pastures and climb over perpetual ice to the region's panoramic peaks.

We would like to accompany you on snowshoe and winter hikes to the idyllic snow-covered places of the Hohe Tauern National Park and show you personally how renewing it can be to walk at eye level with nature.
