This spa resort offers a retreat in the heart of nature and a prominent location on a small, wooded headland in the county of St. Wendel with views over Lake Bostalsee. Its closeness with the surrounding region and the creative mindset of hosts Kathrin and Christian Sersch are evident throughout the entire hotel. Guided by their motto “Real beauty. Awaiting guests are 97 modern rooms and suites, the Restaurant LUMI including terrace, Bar NOX with its fire lounge, a library, three conference rooms and the Seezeit Spa. Once a week on r30 Day, all ingredients even come from within a radius of no more than thirty kilometers - this is when the creativity of head chef Michael Ziernheld and his team is particularly in demand. It is clear how much everyone is behind this concept. When the first elderflowers can be harvested in early summer, for example, fresh blossoms from many of the employees' gardens are brought to the hotel for processing. Fruit, herbs and berries are also grown locally by the GERSTL Unique team. If you would like to take a look behind the scenes of the Gerstl's gourmet workshop, you can do so at the weekly kitchen party. Here, culinary delights are celebrated in a special way and guests are invited to watch the chefs prepare dinner and collect the delicacies from the kitchen in person. If that's not enough, book an exclusive evening at Gerstl's Chef's Table in the middle of the action in the hotel kitchen.
