In 2023, the climate-positive Naturhotel Leitlhof was awarded the title of "Europe's Leading Green Hotel" for the fourth time and can once again call itself an official "climate partner". The hotel also meets the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. The commitment to nature and climate protection includes the energy supply with its own wood-fired combined heat and power plant, electric car charging stations and local suppliers.

South Tyrolean slow food in its most original form
The cuisine at Naturhotel Leitlhof is sustainable, regional and seasonal. The chefs use freshly picked herbs from their own garden to refine their dishes. The nearby farm "Mühlhof", which also belongs to the Mühlmann family, provides the hotel with many types of vegetables and potatoes from its own fields. These ingredients are used to cover all the kitchen requirements. The high-quality meat also comes directly from the farm - from the hotel's own Angus cattle farm.

Hiking in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites
As a member of "Wanderhotels - best alpine", the nature hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes, mountain and trekking tours. The trails into the world-famous Sesto Dolomites start right outside the door. The hotel's own hiking map with tips from local guides and two certified guides show Leitlhof guests the most beautiful routes off the beaten track several times a week. Tip: Hike to the Toblacher Pfannhorn at 2,663 meters.

Since 2023, Leitlhof guests have been enjoying the 3,000 square meter wellness area in the South Tyrolean four-star superior hotel. The newly designed spa landscape attracts visitors with highlights such as the Japanese-style onsen pool, the black Finnish sauna and the fragrant Swiss stone pine sauna. The omnipresent panoramic view of the Dolomites makes the wellness experience even sweeter. As part of the numerous wellness treatments, the wellness professionals use products from the South Tyrolean cosmetics line Team Dr. Joseph. These are certified organic and 100 percent natural.

Just a ten-minute walk from the Naturhotel Leitlhof (and three minutes from the second hotel, Atto Suites & Cuisine), the historic center of San Candido surprises with its culture and long-established craft businesses. The collegiate church, Franciscan monastery and the famous DoloMythos Museum in the pedestrian zone take visitors on a journey through time between the World Heritage Site and the Middle Ages. Cozy felt slippers have been rolled at the Zacher hat maker's workshop for generations.

By bike and train through Val Pusteria/Pustertal
Val Pusteria/Pustertal in the north-east of South Tyrol is a paradise for two-wheeled enthusiasts thanks to its numerous attractive routes, some of which even cross borders. Guests of the Naturhotel Leitlhof can hire bikes and mountain bikes free of charge at the hotel, e-bikes for a fee. With the Mobilcard, buses and trains can be used free of charge throughout South Tyrol. Among the most beautiful routes are those to the Sesto mountain pastures and to Cortina d'Ampezzo - guided bike tours regularly take Leitlhof guests there.

The chef, Georg Costabei, and his team spoils our guests with a rich breakfast buffet and in the evening awaits you with a delicious six course menu that will definitely satisfy the highest culinary expectations. Moreover, the restaurant with “cabrio-roof” offers a magnificent panorama view over the Lake Garda, consequently it rewards you in the eventing with a breath-taking sunset. The Quellenhof Luxury Resort Lazise is the perfect Hideaway place for those seeking a quiet vacation to relax. Turchinu Lounge & Terrace is the Resort's main Lounge Bar. "Turchinu" is the Sicilian expression used to describe the color turquoise, that is, the intense blue-green inspired by the marine landscape of the Western Island. The panoramic terrace extends outside the bar and overlooks the Resort’s inner courtyard. It is decorated with the exact same shades of light blue green, the mere sight of which induces peace and serenity to the mind, allowing the body and mind to relax.

The 43 rooms and 14 studios are perfectly proportioned and elegantly composed, and were designed by star architects NOA from Bolzano South Tyrol, alongside other areas such as the fine dining restaurant "Kantine Rosine", the "Queen Vicky Bar", the "Rosensaal Kino" and the unique SPA in the roof truss.

The unique and AHEAD Europe award-winning Premium SPA in the roof truss extends over almost 800 square meters on 2 floors. The highlight is the open and heated infinity pool with a direct view of the old town, which is open all year round.
