Even Aunt Lisl knew that in addition to mountains and well-fluffed pillows, you also need a good meal, a cozy place to relax, an open heart and good food for a really good gut feeling. That was over 70 years ago.
Since then, we as a family have gone many new ways to preserve this special feeling of home and to reinterpret vacation for you. Our wellness and hiking hotel Gassner **** superior has grown out of the small forest guesthouse - and the pretty Gassner tree house too.

As a genuine family business, we are the perfect complement, because we could hardly be more different. Together with our wonderful Gassner Seilschaft, we bring a lot of warmth, charm and life into the hotel. That's probably why so much of our work is so individual and varied.

Are you a true child of nature and just as drawn to the outdoors as we are? Wonderful, because as a member of the best hiking hotels in the Alps, our main aim is to find strength and inspiration in nature all year round.
On at least 5 guided hikes, we, hiking guide Monika and boss Hans-Peter Gassner, would like to introduce you to the diversity of nature in the surrounding mountains, hike with you through blooming alpine pastures and climb over perpetual ice to the region's panoramic peaks.

We would like to accompany you on snowshoe and winter hikes to the idyllic snow-covered places of the Hohe Tauern National Park and show you personally how renewing it can be to walk at eye level with nature.

A unique hotel that reflects the Rabanser family's deep connection to nature in all its facets. "Feeling reborn" is the philosophy of the hotel and to this end, an incomparable offer for body, mind and soul has been created with great professionalism. "Green Living" - pure nature in a modern design, based on the UNESCO Biosphere Program. With 31 rooms ranging from 40 - 66 m², the architecture of which was inspired by nature, as evidenced by the use of organic building materials such as wood, stone and clay. Flooded with light and incredibly cozy, with enchanting views of unspoiled nature.

The "Tirler Dolomites Living Hotel" was the first hotel in Italy to be awarded the ECARF quality seal for allergy-friendliness. This unique project was developed in cooperation with institutes of building biology, environmental medicine and experts in motorology. The organic concept is also reflected in the restaurant. With gourmet cuisine that skillfully combines tradition and innovation, also conjures up tasty dishes for those with food intolerances and delights guests in the evening with a delicious 5-course menu and a large à la cart selection.

A spacious energy spa area invites you to relax after an eventful day:
Indoor pool with sluice into a 33° C warm outdoor pool, the water enriched with oxygen. An invigorating sauna world on over 800m² - spacious panorama sauna with soothing infusions, hay sauna, steam sauna and Zirm bio sauna - with water beds in the relaxation zone and spa treatments with authentic "Tirler Alm" spa products. The ingredients are dominated by Swiss stone pine and arnica oil, silver quartzite and pure mountain water from the hotel's own spring.

A fascinating natural landscape of legendary beauty awaits guests: the largest high alpine pasture in Europe surrounded by the magnificent mountain scenery of the Dolomites. Staged by a panorama that almost takes your breath away, guests will find everything their heart desires: hiking from alpine hut to alpine hut through meadows and forests with 3,426 different plant and animal species to discover. Those who prefer something a little more sporty will find an unlimited mountain hiking experience in the majestic Dolomite giants such as Sassolungo and Sassopiatto, Sciliar and the Molignon massif. Mountain bikers can choose from 33 routes with fantastic views and relaxing rest points with rustic huts. And in nearby Castelrotto, golfers will find an 18-hole, 69-par course surrounded by impressive nature with streams, ponds and waterfalls. Families and children will love the sensory trail to the witches' springs, which starts directly at the Tirler. This hiking loop offers a deep experience of unspoiled nature with lots of fun and primal games. The forest above the Tirler becomes an adventure playground and a nature classroom at the same time. Everything is right outside the hotel gate at the Tirler. Right next door is the rustic Tirler Alm, awarded the title of South Tyrol's most beautiful alpine hut. On its large sun terrace, you can relax and recharge your batteries at the same time.
