In the summertime, the area in and around Frauenau offers a wide range of excursion destinations. Hiking tours, lakes, mountain bike tours and much more make your holiday a special experience. The Golfpark Oberzwieselau, which is only a 5-minute drive away, guarantees golfers maximum playing pleasure in front of a fantastic backdrop in the Bavarian Forest. Frauenau and the Hotel Eibl-Brunner also exude their very special charm in winter. The ski lift, ski school and a cross-country skiing center in the center of the village attract winter enthusiasts. Next to you you can see snow-covered treetops, above you the bright blue sky and in front of you nothing but limitless snow fun - that's winter holidays in the wellness hotel Eibl-Brunner.

Not only are the hotel's 67 rooms and suites spacious, but also the entire 130,000 square meter hotel park. The Fischland shares thedunes, pine forest and long beachwith its sister hotel, the Strandhotel Dünenmeer. Guests can enjoy all of the resort's amenities on both sides. The 800 meters between the hotels can be bridged by a shuttle service if required - or a walk. Fine, fresh and healthy cuisine is part of the program: guests can try out all the restaurants and bars during "Dining around" - from the family restaurant in "Fischland" to the "Strandläufer" in "Dünenmeer", even directly in the dunes - in "Blockhus" or "Strandbude". The "Ostseelounge" on the "Fischland" rooftop is the pinnacle of indulgence: André Beiersdorff and Matthias Stolze's modern regional cuisine is adorned with a Michelin star.

For all their innovative spirit, the Gerstl family relies on tried and tested dishes: the hotel's regionally oriented cuisine, which sources its products from the surrounding area to support the farmers in the valley and protect the environment with short transportation routes, is already a tradition. Once a week on r30 Day, all ingredients even come from within a radius of no more than thirty kilometers - this is when the creativity of head chef Michael Ziernheld and his team is particularly in demand. It is clear how much everyone is behind this concept. When the first elderflowers can be harvested in early summer, for example, fresh blossoms from many of the employees' gardens are brought to the hotel for processing. Fruit, herbs and berries are also grown locally by the GERSTL Unique team. If you would like to take a look behind the scenes of the Gerstl's gourmet workshop, you can do so at the weekly kitchen party. Here, culinary delights are celebrated in a special way and guests are invited to watch the chefs prepare dinner and collect the delicacies from the kitchen in person. If that's not enough, book an exclusive evening at Gerstl's Chef's Table in the middle of the action in the hotel kitchen.

The extent to which the family is rooted in the region is illustrated not only by the r30 philosophy in the food, but also by its continuation in other areas: Building materials are sourced locally wherever possible and are processed by local craftspeople, the cosmetic products are made from regional ingredients and even the staff almost all come from within a radius of just 30 kilometers.

From June 2023, you can enjoy our four new styles of deluxe suite: each one with a different theme, unique design, whirlpool, and large terrace with sea view. These new suites will join the classical and elegant existing rooms to give you a holiday of pure comfort!
