Turchinu Lounge & Terrace is the Resort's main Lounge Bar. "Turchinu" is the Sicilian expression used to describe the color turquoise, that is, the intense blue-green inspired by the marine landscape of the Western Island. It is decorated with the exact same shades of light blue green, the mere sight of which induces peace and serenity to the mind, allowing the body and mind to relax.

On at least 5 guided hikes, we, hiking guide Monika and boss Hans-Peter Gassner, would like to introduce you to the diversity of nature in the surrounding mountains, hike with you through blooming alpine pastures and climb over perpetual ice to the region's panoramic peaks.

We would like to accompany you on snowshoe and winter hikes to the idyllic snow-covered places of the Hohe Tauern National Park and show you personally how renewing it can be to walk at eye level with nature.

The extended relaxation rooms also look in this direction and the Swiss stone pine room in particular increases the level of relaxation thanks to the delicate scent of this wood. The fitness room and adjoining yoga and meditation room offer space for conscious movement.

TIME TO ENJOY:
Plant-based alpine cuisine with delicious vitamin bombs, detoxing with vegan-vegetarian, alkaline and ketogenic menus, through to dishes that are familiar to us: Grandma's recipes, traditionally prepared the way we've always loved them. Whichever culinary option you choose, you are sure to find a fine wine from one of Austria's largest wine cellars to accompany it. Everything is possible - nothing is a must. But even without skis, you are in good hands on the Goldener Berg: Directly from the hotel, there are many kilometers of wonderful hiking trails, cross-country ski trails or Nordic walking as well as jogging trails, which are perfectly groomed every day. All of these sports in beautiful natural surroundings are easy to learn and bring joy to the heart. The snow-covered mountain panorama around the Hotel Goldener Berg is also a perfect backdrop for mediation, alpine bathing, heart and tidal walks.
