For over 30 years, the Dr. Manfred Maus family has been running the 4* Superior Hotel PFALZBLICK WALD SPA RESORT with a keen sense for their guests and the treasures of the region. In the new panorama house of the PFALZBLICK those looking for relaxation spend deeply relaxed hours with forest feeling on two floors. In the modern relaxation rooms designed in warm colors, wellness fans not only find themselves in the midst of nature with a view of the adjacent Palatinate Forest, but also immerse themselves in a peaceful feel-good atmosphere thanks to the combination of natural materials and design elements. Like the existing penthouse suites, all are equipped with their own whirlpool on the balcony or covered terrace, as well as their own Finnish sauna, which can also be used as an infrared cabin.



THE HIKING HUB ON YOUR DOORSTEP

Numerous premium themed trails invite active nature lovers to hike, bike and explore the impressive landscape of the Palatinate Forest and Alsace. The premium hiking trail Dahner Felsenpfad or the Dahner Rundwanderweg lead directly across the resort's property. Impressive red sandstone formations and historic castle ruins can be found along the Legend Trail or in the Pfälzerwald-Nordvogesen Nature Park and Biosphere Reserve. Exciting insights into the world of wolves can be gained by animal lovers of all ages on the wolf nature trail. At the hotel bar you can end the day with cocktails and gin and rum specialties . The library with forest view and the wellness garden at the edge of the forest invite you to browse and relax. The MentalSpa resort offers a paradise of peace and regeneration on over 700m². In the wellness area, which extends over two floors, you will find an indoor pool (approx. 30°C) with panoramic views, a sauna area with Finnish sauna, panorama sanarium, infrared sauna, brine and aroma steam bath and foot Kneipp pool as well as a relaxation room with tea bar and towels for free use. From the spa area you have direct access to the wellness garden on the edge of the Fritschen forest.

In addition, health, resilience and regeneration measurements are carried out using medical biofeedback, e.g. in the area of heart rate variability (HRV), sleep apnea measurement, as well as training in the area of regeneration, including respiratory sinus arrhythmia, breathing training and mental, emotional and physical relaxation training.
