Thomas Gerber and his team impress with classic compositions interpreted in an innovative way and can look forward to 1 Michelin Guide star and 4 toques in "Der grosse Restaurant und Hotel Guide" for Oswald's Gourmetstube. Quality at the highest level awaits you.

As part of Oswald's gourmet board, you can look forward to an extensive breakfast buffet, salads, soups and snacks at lunchtime and homemade cakes and coffee in the afternoon. In the evening, our team will spoil you with a 5-course menu of your choice.

Even Aunt Lisl knew that in addition to mountains and well-fluffed pillows, you also need a good meal, a cozy place to relax, an open heart and good food for a really good gut feeling. That was over 70 years ago.
Since then, we as a family have gone many new ways to preserve this special feeling of home and to reinterpret vacation for you. Our wellness and hiking hotel Gassner **** superior has grown out of the small forest guesthouse - and the pretty Gassner tree house too.

As a genuine family business, we are the perfect complement, because we could hardly be more different. Together with our wonderful Gassner Seilschaft, we bring a lot of warmth, charm and life into the hotel. That's probably why so much of our work is so individual and varied.

Are you a true child of nature and just as drawn to the outdoors as we are? Wonderful, because as a member of the best hiking hotels in the Alps, our main aim is to find strength and inspiration in nature all year round.
On at least 5 guided hikes, we, hiking guide Monika and boss Hans-Peter Gassner, would like to introduce you to the diversity of nature in the surrounding mountains, hike with you through blooming alpine pastures and climb over perpetual ice to the region's panoramic peaks.

We would like to accompany you on snowshoe and winter hikes to the idyllic snow-covered places of the Hohe Tauern National Park and show you personally how renewing it can be to walk at eye level with nature.

The 43 rooms and 14 studios are perfectly proportioned and elegantly composed, and were designed by star architects NOA from Bolzano South Tyrol, alongside other areas such as the fine dining restaurant "Kantine Rosine", the "Queen Vicky Bar", the "Rosensaal Kino" and the unique SPA in the roof truss.

The unique and AHEAD Europe award-winning Premium SPA in the roof truss extends over almost 800 square meters on 2 floors. The highlight is the open and heated infinity pool with a direct view of the old town, which is open all year round. The offer is rounded off by a Finnish sauna, steam sauna, banya and fresh air area, as well as several treatment rooms. All directly under the roof gable. Our Alpine Spa, renovated in 2024, will not only impress you with vigorous swims in the 23-metre-long outdoor infinity pool with whirlpool function. You also have the choice between three large saunas, some with wonderful views of the mountains. There is also a mountain cave pool terrace and indoor pool, also with a magnificent view of the Omeshorn, the local mountain. The extended relaxation rooms also look in this direction and the Swiss stone pine room in particular increases the level of relaxation thanks to the delicate scent of this wood. The fitness room and adjoining yoga and meditation room offer space for conscious movement.

TIME TO ENJOY:
Plant-based alpine cuisine with delicious vitamin bombs, detoxing with vegan-vegetarian, alkaline and ketogenic menus, through to dishes that are familiar to us: Grandma's recipes, traditionally prepared the way we've always loved them. Whichever culinary option you choose, you are sure to find a fine wine from one of Austria's largest wine cellars to accompany it. Everything is possible - nothing is a must. In winter, you can choose from 4 restaurants (1 of them with 3 toques from Gault Millau) and 2 sun terraces as part of our Dine Around half board.

BERGZEIT:
Summer & fall:
Blooming wildflower meadows and the view of the mountain peaks let you forget everyday life at the Hotel Goldener Berg. Around 350 km of marked hiking trails as well as bike routes and climbing tours are waiting to be discovered. The Lech Golf Club has an 18-hole and a 9-hole course. A vacation at the Hotel Goldener Berg is also ideal for families, as numerous activities for young and old await you in the surrounding area. As a guest at the Goldener Berg, you can book the Lech Card from 2 days: enjoy special benefits such as free use of all cable cars, guided themed hikes, use of the local bus and much more.

Winter:
Free from the crowds, get on your skis right outside the hotel and off you go: over 300 kilometers of pistes and 200 off-piste kilometers await you in Austria's largest ski area. But even without skis, you are in good hands on the Goldener Berg: Directly from the hotel, there are many kilometers of wonderful hiking trails, cross-country ski trails or Nordic walking as well as jogging trails, which are perfectly groomed every day. All of these sports in beautiful natural surroundings are easy to learn and bring joy to the heart. The snow-covered mountain panorama around the Hotel Goldener Berg is also a perfect backdrop for mediation, alpine bathing, heart and tidal walks.
