The Große Walsertal Biosphere Reserve is located in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg and extends in the middle of Vorarlberg in an easterly to north-easterly direction towards the mountainous center of the province. In 2000, the Große Walsertal was designated a model region by UNESCO as a "biosphere park" due to its particularly outstanding and diverse nature. At the end of 2022, the renovation and expansion work of the new Spa will begin, inspired by the well-established concept of the award-winning Almablu Wellness & Spa of Almar Jesolo Resort & Spa. entirely renovated and expanded to more than 2700 m2. Turchinu Lounge & Terrace is the Resort's main Lounge Bar. "Turchinu" is the Sicilian expression used to describe the color turquoise, that is, the intense blue-green inspired by the marine landscape of the Western Island. The panoramic terrace extends outside the bar and overlooks the Resort’s inner courtyard. It is decorated with the exact same shades of light blue green, the mere sight of which induces peace and serenity to the mind, allowing the body and mind to relax.
