The Spa & Resort Bachmair Weissach offers a total of 140 rooms (25 - 200 sqm), including 45 suites. In addition, 54 almost identical rooms of the highest category (60 sqm). While the medieval half-timbered streets of Stolberg nestle along the bed of the Thyra and the narrow Lude rivers in the valley below, the Hotel & Spa Suites FreiWerk is enthroned high up on the Thyrahöhe and offers you a beautiful view, and not just from the large sun terrace.

With seven new Private Spa Suites in the Hotel & Spa Suites FreiWerk, you can enjoy exclusive moments of peace and quiet - all to yourself. Each individual Private Spa Suite in the Harz Mountains is two-storey and has a living space of around 100 m² with absolute privacy.
The spa suites are also furnished with selected works of art from the MEISSEN porcelain manufactory. Sustainability is very important to us, which is why our private spa suites are made entirely of wood from local Harz spruce. The direct location of our hotel on the lake invites you to go for walks and sporty outdoor activities, and our area is directly adjacent to the 18-hole course of the Schloss Haag golf club. The city of Geldern is located in North Rhine-Westphalia in close proximity to the Dutch border. Trips to the neighboring country are therefore possible spontaneously - also by bike, because the Lower Rhine is a paradise for cyclists.
In the See Park Terrassen restaurant, particular emphasis is placed on freshness and top quality. Regional specialties and vitality cuisine form the focus of the seasonally changing menu.

As the Moselle is considered the most important wine-growing region in Germany, head chef Kristof Nemes compiles the entire menu in close collaboration with hotel manager Marcel Burbach, who is a proven wine connoisseur and lover. Betty Langner, probably the coolest barkeeper on the Moselle, mixes the best drinks with personal finesse.
