The 800 meters between the hotels can be bridged by a shuttle service if required - or a walk. Fine, fresh and healthy cuisine is part of the program: guests can try out all the restaurants and bars during "Dining around" - from the family restaurant in "Fischland" to the "Strandläufer" in "Dünenmeer", even directly in the dunes - in "Blockhus" or "Strandbude". The "Ostseelounge" on the "Fischland" rooftop is the pinnacle of indulgence: André Beiersdorff and Matthias Stolze's modern regional cuisine is adorned with a Michelin star.

In the morning the sun rises over the peaks, in the evening the lights sparkle in the valley. At 1,500 meters above sea level, guests can enjoy pleasant temperatures even in the warmer months, while relaxing in the open air on box seats by the 18-meter-long, year-round heated infinity pool, on cosy day beds or in the outdoor whirlpool in the sauna garden. Relax, read a good book, take a dip in one of the pools, let your gaze and thoughts wander - all of this is possible at Hotel Gerstl.

The exclusive suites also invite you to do nothing. After a day full of activities and fresh mountain air, the evening ends with a delicious, multi-course meal. For all their innovative spirit, the Gerstl family relies on tried and tested dishes: the hotel's regionally oriented cuisine, which sources its products from the surrounding area to support the farmers in the valley and protect the environment with short transportation routes, is already a tradition. Once a week on r30 Day, all ingredients even come from within a radius of no more than thirty kilometers - this is when the creativity of head chef Michael Ziernheld and his team is particularly in demand. It is clear how much everyone is behind this concept. When the first elderflowers can be harvested in early summer, for example, fresh blossoms from many of the employees' gardens are brought to the hotel for processing. We would like to accompany you on snowshoe and winter hikes to the idyllic snow-covered places of the Hohe Tauern National Park and show you personally how renewing it can be to walk at eye level with nature.
