Bergdorf Sterr: Less than 100 meters from the hotel, the six rustic old wood chalets are arranged around a peaceful swimming pond in a unique symbiosis with nature to form a small mountain village. When the first elderflowers can be harvested in early summer, for example, fresh blossoms from many of the employees' gardens are brought to the hotel for processing. Thermen Bad Nieuweschans offers the finest in wellness and enjoyment of nature: a thermal bath at 36° C and a park bath with 34° C warm, mineral-rich healing water from its own spring, an outdoor pool, a garden with sunbathing area and a large sauna area invite you to relax. From April to October, the large bathrobe park with hammocks and barefoot path attracts guests.

The hotel restaurant is one of the top 10 in Groningen and one of the 500 best restaurants in the Netherlands.
