Here, right by the lake, surrounded by the stunning mountain scenery of the Steinernes Meer, the warm-hearted host family around Hannes and Martina Riedlsperger have created an exclusive place of indulgence - a place to relax, recharge your batteries and have a really good time.

The Spa am See is located between the two buildings that make up the Wellnesshotel Ritzenhof. The underground wellness oasis opens directly onto the shore of Lake Ritzensee with a private sunbathing lawn. There you can doze in one of the shell and floating loungers with the sound of the reeds in your ears. An indoor pool, Finnish sauna, textile sauna, steam bath, sanarium, infrared cabin and massages or beauty treatments tailored to your individual needs await you in the spa by the lake.

In winter, the cross-country ski trail runs right past the spa and provides access to the region's extensive network of trails. Some people also chase their childhood memories on ice skates on the frozen Ritzensee or simply warm themselves by the flickering fire.

The stylishly furnished rooms and suites are deliberately kept simple; nothing should distract from the essentials. Clear lines and materials replace the sensory overload to which we are exposed in everyday life. Green meadows and gentle mountains surround the charming half-timbered town of Hallenberg in the southern Hochsauerland district. The DIEDRICH Wellnesshotel & Spa was founded here in 1898 and has been run by the family ever since. They have transformed their traditional house into a unique wellness and well-being domicile. Now in its fourth generation, the hotel's hospitality is based on a special concept that offers guests plenty of space to slow down and relax.

Regional naturalness and traditional charm characterize the modern-authentic ambience. The adults-only hotel inspires with a holistic time-out. Stressed-out people will find everything they need to bring body and soul back into harmony in the well-tempered outdoor infinity pool, the pillar indoor pool and the "Timeless" relaxation area. The sauna area with sauna terrace, Swiss stone pine bio sauna, alpine snow grotto and ascetic relaxation room is very attractive. Various massages, baths and beauty treatments enhance your stay.

The hotel's activity program ranges from breathing meditation to nature hikes and yoga. In addition to the wellness offers and the extremely warm hospitality, the honest, fresh cuisine with predominantly regional products is another reason why guests return to the DIEDRICH time and time again.

Not only are the hotel's 67 rooms and suites spacious, but also the entire 130,000 square meter hotel park. There is plenty of space in the coastal forest for vacation apartments and separate country houses, many of which are traditionally thatched. Guests decide for themselves how much hotel service they want.

Relaxation and slowing down or sporting power, active vacations and exercise in nature - the boundaries are fluid here, one thing leads to another. Optimal conditions have been created for this: the FISCHLAND SPA- & SPORTWELT with 4500 square meters, which is unparalleled on the Baltic Sea coast. The glass fronts in front of the indoor pool offer a view of the greenery. The sauna area also includes an outdoor sauna in the dunes with access to the Baltic Sea.

Indoor and outdoor tennis court. Badminton. A fitness area equipped with state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment. Yoga, Pilates, circuit training or aqua aerobics - guests can choose from the daily course and activity program. In the open air, there are tennis and badminton courts, a fitness trail through the forest and bike hire. In summer, kitesurfing and surfing are practiced on the hotel beach. A special experience: tennis on the dunes. Golf courses and riding arenas are not far away either; the hotel cooperates with regular partners. Underthe direction of sports manager Axel Ritter, beginners and advanced are advised and accompanied by experts. The distances are short, the barriers low to enjoy sport at your own pace or under professional guidance. Also for the youngest: qualified childcare for 3 to 16-year-olds is available at least 5 days a week.

The Fischland shares thedunes, pine forest and long beachwith its sister hotel, the Strandhotel Dünenmeer. Guests can enjoy all of the resort's amenities on both sides. The 800 meters between the hotels can be bridged by a shuttle service if required - or a walk. Fine, fresh and healthy cuisine is part of the program: guests can try out all the restaurants and bars during "Dining around" - from the family restaurant in "Fischland" to the "Strandläufer" in "Dünenmeer", even directly in the dunes - in "Blockhus" or "Strandbude". The "Ostseelounge" on the "Fischland" rooftop is the pinnacle of indulgence: André Beiersdorff and Matthias Stolze's modern regional cuisine is adorned with a Michelin star.
