The Klosterhof welcomes its guests in aunique, secluded location in Bayerisch Gmain. Surrounded by greenery, with a gigantic view of the Upper Bavarian Alps and just a stone's throw away from the legendary festival city of Salzburg, the hideaway with its excellent spa is the perfect feel-good place for anyone who wants to combine relaxation and a mountain experience in style. Cuisine & indulgence at the Klosterhof
Under the motto "Your mood defines your food", the Klosterhof offers its guests a multi-course gourmet menu for three different types of gourmet, which has absolutely nothing to do with the classic half-board cuisine from the standard hotel industry. The young and ambitious head chef Sascha Förster places particular emphasis on exciting dishes with influences from Michelin-starred cuisine.
The combination of health and indulgence is integrated into the dishes with ease. Both at breakfast, where a green wall tempts you to use fresh herbs, with healthy lunch bowls in the afternoon, and in the evening, where there is a purely plant-based "Kraut & Rüben" menu based on a vegan diet without industrial substitute products in addition to the creative and cosmopolitan "Chef's Choice" menu, the vital and regional "Bergwiese" menu.

The gourmet summit with Förster's personal, individual culinary signature takes place every Saturday: In anexclusive setting for just 12 people, the "Secret Forest - Fine Dining Experience" takes placein a secret location . Together with his kitchen team, Sascha Förster transforms the best products from the Alps and around the world into extravagant and unique gourmet creations. His dishes reveal many an extravagant combination that merge into a surprising symbiosis after the first bite. The Secret Forest Fine Dining Experience was awarded two golden forks by Falstaff after its first year and is a "must" for every gourmet.

Andreas Färber opened the Klosterhof as a unique relaxation oasis in the Berchtesgadener Land region with precisely this enthusiasm. South Tyrol - that's the place where Alpine down-to-earthness meets Mediterranean lightness. As part of Oswald's gourmet board, you can look forward to an extensive breakfast buffet, salads, soups and snacks at lunchtime and homemade cakes and coffee in the afternoon. In the evening, our team will spoil you with a 5-course menu of your choice.

From June 2023, you can enjoy our four new styles of deluxe suite: each one with a different theme, unique design, whirlpool, and large terrace with sea view. These new suites will join the classical and elegant existing rooms to give you a holiday of pure comfort!

Our private beach is located directly in front of our hotel, where relaxation, music, and entertainment await. At the service area on the beach, you’ll find sun umbrellas, loungers, newspapers, beach towels, and everything you need to chill by the sea. A food & beverage service is also available so that you can enjoy snacks and drinks on your loungers.

Besides its location right by the sea, our hotel has a large outdoor area with whirlpool, children’s pool, terrace with loungers, and refreshment area. Our hotel features a modern fitness room with cardio equipment and space for calisthenics, new from 2023.

If you want even more, you can reach the renowned Bibione Thermae wellness centre through the comfortable, heated underground tunnel. Here, deluxe wellness moments await you in the SPA Beauty Farm, in the garden, and in the solarium.
