Quality at the highest level awaits you.

As part of Oswald's gourmet board, you can look forward to an extensive breakfast buffet, salads, soups and snacks at lunchtime and homemade cakes and coffee in the afternoon. In the evening, our team will spoil you with a 5-course menu of your choice.

Since then, we as a family have gone many new ways to preserve this special feeling of home and to reinterpret vacation for you. Our wellness and hiking hotel Gassner **** superior has grown out of the small forest guesthouse - and the pretty Gassner tree house too.

As a genuine family business, we are the perfect complement, because we could hardly be more different. Together with our wonderful Gassner Seilschaft, we bring a lot of warmth, charm and life into the hotel. That's probably why so much of our work is so individual and varied.

On at least 5 guided hikes, we, hiking guide Monika and boss Hans-Peter Gassner, would like to introduce you to the diversity of nature in the surrounding mountains, hike with you through blooming alpine pastures and climb over perpetual ice to the region's panoramic peaks.

We would like to accompany you on snowshoe and winter hikes to the idyllic snow-covered places of the Hohe Tauern National Park and show you personally how renewing it can be to walk at eye level with nature.

Bergdorf Sterr: Less than 100 meters from the hotel, the six rustic old wood chalets are arranged around a peaceful swimming pond in a unique symbiosis with nature to form a small mountain village. Four chalets for two people and two chalets for four people captivate guests with their stylish, rustic charm. A successful example of privacy with an open fireplace, private sauna and outdoor whirlpool on the terrace. With their loving attention to detail, these chalets were and still are style-defining in the region. The Bergdorf is the epitome of relaxing coziness, and it is located very close to the hotel, which Bergdorf guests can use in all its diversity if they wish: whether garden, bar, restaurant or wellness area. In 2023, the climate-positive Naturhotel Leitlhof was awarded the title of "Europe's Leading Green Hotel" for the fourth time and can once again call itself an official "climate partner". The hotel also meets the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. The commitment to nature and climate protection includes the energy supply with its own wood-fired combined heat and power plant, electric car charging stations and local suppliers.

South Tyrolean slow food in its most original form
The cuisine at Naturhotel Leitlhof is sustainable, regional and seasonal. The chefs use freshly picked herbs from their own garden to refine their dishes. The nearby farm "Mühlhof", which also belongs to the Mühlmann family, provides the hotel with many types of vegetables and potatoes from its own fields. These ingredients are used to cover all the kitchen requirements. The high-quality meat also comes directly from the farm - from the hotel's own Angus cattle farm.

Hiking in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites
As a member of "Wanderhotels - best alpine", the nature hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes, mountain and trekking tours. The trails into the world-famous Sesto Dolomites start right outside the door. The hotel's own hiking map with tips from local guides and two certified guides show Leitlhof guests the most beautiful routes off the beaten track several times a week. Tip: Hike to the Toblacher Pfannhorn at 2,663 meters.

Since 2023, Leitlhof guests have been enjoying the 3,000 square meter wellness area in the South Tyrolean four-star superior hotel. The newly designed spa landscape attracts visitors with highlights such as the Japanese-style onsen pool, the black Finnish sauna and the fragrant Swiss stone pine sauna. The omnipresent panoramic view of the Dolomites makes the wellness experience even sweeter. Insider tip for historically interested strollers
Just a ten-minute walk from the Naturhotel Leitlhof (and three minutes from the second hotel, Atto Suites & Cuisine), the historic center of San Candido surprises with its culture and long-established craft businesses. The collegiate church, Franciscan monastery and the famous DoloMythos Museum in the pedestrian zone take visitors on a journey through time between the World Heritage Site and the Middle Ages. Cozy felt slippers have been rolled at the Zacher hat maker's workshop for generations.

By bike and train through Val Pusteria/Pustertal
Val Pusteria/Pustertal in the north-east of South Tyrol is a paradise for two-wheeled enthusiasts thanks to its numerous attractive routes, some of which even cross borders. Guests of the Naturhotel Leitlhof can hire bikes and mountain bikes free of charge at the hotel, e-bikes for a fee. With the Mobilcard, buses and trains can be used free of charge throughout South Tyrol. Among the most beautiful routes are those to the Sesto mountain pastures and to Cortina d'Ampezzo - guided bike tours regularly take Leitlhof guests there.

At Tuberis, we not only work on your special moments of relaxation every day, but also try to cultivate a sustainable lifestyle in a variety of ways and with full conviction. We achieve this, among other things, with our photovoltaic system, which supplies us with electricity from the sun. We also use Venosta wood as a source of heat in the wood chip system, obtain many of our groceries directly from our own garden or cattle shed and for the rest we try to use zero-kilometer products whenever possible.
