In the summertime, the area in and around Frauenau offers a wide range of excursion destinations. Hiking tours, lakes, mountain bike tours and much more make your holiday a special experience. The Golfpark Oberzwieselau, which is only a 5-minute drive away, guarantees golfers maximum playing pleasure in front of a fantastic backdrop in the Bavarian Forest. Frauenau and the Hotel Eibl-Brunner also exude their very special charm in winter. The ski lift, ski school and a cross-country skiing center in the center of the village attract winter enthusiasts. Small but perfectly formed, the BalanceSAUNA invites guests to sit back and regenerate. As is customary at Quellenhof, facilities include a Finnish sauna (for around 35 people) with regular events and infusions, as well as a wholesome steam bath, and a biosanarium with combo loungers where you can either sit or lie down. The outdoor area features a plunge pool and a garden with relaxation corners and a view of the lake.
Guests at the Quellenhof See Lodge can enjoy access to the lake from nearly every point of the estate. The 4,500 m² bathing lake, with a length of 105m the biggest pool in South Tyrol (!) and with depth ranging from 0.5 to 1.25 metres, can be accessed for a relaxing swim from almost any point. In addition to the lake, there is also an indoor pool in the spa area, which is directly connected to the year-round heated outdoor pool (25m in length).

This is why the BalanceSPA offer is complemented by the extensive range of activities and facilities of BalanceSPORT. As part of our three-country culinary "grenzARTig" we invite you daily to a cross-border culinary journey through the Swiss Engadine, the South Tyrolean Vinschgau and the Tyrolean "Obere Gricht". In the process, many typical regional specialties from recipes handed down will be served. The Naudererhof Verwöhnpension not only tastes delicious, but also stands for a conscious use of resources and the environment. We cook with fresh, natural and healthy ingredients, mainly from regional products and attach importance to gentle preparation. So it can be enjoyed without remorse!

To make your family ski vacation in the mountains a true winter dream, we have taken many precautions in our 4-star superior hotel to offer you and your children fun in the snow and skiing in the sun and the greatest possible safety: Children in our hotel will find everything they need.

Not only are the hotel's 67 rooms and suites spacious, but also the entire 130,000 square meter hotel park. There is plenty of space in the coastal forest for vacation apartments and separate country houses, many of which are traditionally thatched. Guests decide for themselves how much hotel service they want.

Relaxation and slowing down or sporting power, active vacations and exercise in nature - the boundaries are fluid here, one thing leads to another. Optimal conditions have been created for this: the FISCHLAND SPA- & SPORTWELT with 4500 square meters, which is unparalleled on the Baltic Sea coast. The glass fronts in front of the indoor pool offer a view of the greenery. The sauna area also includes an outdoor sauna in the dunes with access to the Baltic Sea.

Indoor and outdoor tennis court. Badminton. A fitness area equipped with state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment. Yoga, Pilates, circuit training or aqua aerobics - guests can choose from the daily course and activity program. In the open air, there are tennis and badminton courts, a fitness trail through the forest and bike hire. In summer, kitesurfing and surfing are practiced on the hotel beach. A special experience: tennis on the dunes. Golf courses and riding arenas are not far away either; the hotel cooperates with regular partners. Underthe direction of sports manager Axel Ritter, beginners and advanced are advised and accompanied by experts. The distances are short, the barriers low to enjoy sport at your own pace or under professional guidance. Also for the youngest: qualified childcare for 3 to 16-year-olds is available at least 5 days a week.

The Fischland shares thedunes, pine forest and long beachwith its sister hotel, the Strandhotel Dünenmeer. Guests can enjoy all of the resort's amenities on both sides. The 800 meters between the hotels can be bridged by a shuttle service if required - or a walk. Fine, fresh and healthy cuisine is part of the program: guests can try out all the restaurants and bars during "Dining around" - from the family restaurant in "Fischland" to the "Strandläufer" in "Dünenmeer", even directly in the dunes - in "Blockhus" or "Strandbude". The "Ostseelounge" on the "Fischland" rooftop is the pinnacle of indulgence: André Beiersdorff and Matthias Stolze's modern regional cuisine is adorned with a Michelin star.

From June 2023, you can enjoy our four new styles of deluxe suite: each one with a different theme, unique design, whirlpool, and large terrace with sea view. These new suites will join the classical and elegant existing rooms to give you a holiday of pure comfort!

Our private beach is located directly in front of our hotel, where relaxation, music, and entertainment await. At the service area on the beach, you’ll find sun umbrellas, loungers, newspapers, beach towels, and everything you need to chill by the sea. A food & beverage service is also available so that you can enjoy snacks and drinks on your loungers.

On at least 5 guided hikes, we, hiking guide Monika and boss Hans-Peter Gassner, would like to introduce you to the diversity of nature in the surrounding mountains, hike with you through blooming alpine pastures and climb over perpetual ice to the region's panoramic peaks.

We would like to accompany you on snowshoe and winter hikes to the idyllic snow-covered places of the Hohe Tauern National Park and show you personally how renewing it can be to walk at eye level with nature.
