Located directly at the valley station in Grossarl, DAS EDELWEISS Salzburg Mountain Resort is the ideal retreat for active people, those seeking relaxation and connoisseurs. With hiking routes of altitudes between 300 and 3.000 meters, Algund offers something to mountain pros as well as hobby hikers.
Many relaxation areas for couples and families can be found at Das Dorner.  The infinity pool on the roof terrace (adults only), the outdoor pool in the palm garden and the indoor pool provide the necessary refreshment. 
 In the Sky Spa’s panoramic sauna, you will be heated up.  Sauna infusions are offered daily.

A fascinating natural landscape of legendary beauty awaits guests: the largest high alpine pasture in Europe surrounded by the magnificent mountain scenery of the Dolomites. Staged by a panorama that almost takes your breath away, guests will find everything their heart desires: hiking from alpine hut to alpine hut through meadows and forests with 3,426 different plant and animal species to discover. Those who prefer something a little more sporty will find an unlimited mountain hiking experience in the majestic Dolomite giants such as Sassolungo and Sassopiatto, Sciliar and the Molignon massif.
