The city of Geldern is located in North Rhine-Westphalia in close proximity to the Dutch border. In 2023, the climate-positive Naturhotel Leitlhof was awarded the title of "Europe's Leading Green Hotel" for the fourth time and can once again call itself an official "climate partner". South Tyrolean slow food in its most original form
The cuisine at Naturhotel Leitlhof is sustainable, regional and seasonal. The chefs use freshly picked herbs from their own garden to refine their dishes. The nearby farm "Mühlhof", which also belongs to the Mühlmann family, provides the hotel with many types of vegetables and potatoes from its own fields. These ingredients are used to cover all the kitchen requirements. The high-quality meat also comes directly from the farm - from the hotel's own Angus cattle farm.

Hiking in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites
As a member of "Wanderhotels - best alpine", the nature hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes, mountain and trekking tours. The trails into the world-famous Sesto Dolomites start right outside the door. The hotel's own hiking map with tips from local guides and two certified guides show Leitlhof guests the most beautiful routes off the beaten track several times a week. By bike and train through Val Pusteria/Pustertal
