The extensive pool landscape has a large indoor pool with integrated bubble loungers and massage jets as well as a splash shower. The panoramic whirlpool offers a fantastic view of the idyllic landscape from above. Depending on the weather, the outdoor pool can be used through the airlock. The sauna area has two outdoor log cabin saunas with a natural biotope, Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam baths, Himalayan salt grotto, Kneipp pool and relaxation rooms. The Ayurveda center is integrated on a separate floor of the hotel and an Ayurveda doctor and specialists from Sri Lanka, the country of origin, carry out the holistic treatments. The Große Walsertal Biosphere Reserve is located in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg and extends in the middle of Vorarlberg in an easterly to north-easterly direction towards the mountainous center of the province. In 2000, the Große Walsertal was designated a model region by UNESCO as a "biosphere park" due to its particularly outstanding and diverse nature. For all their innovative spirit, the Gerstl family relies on tried and tested dishes: the hotel's regionally oriented cuisine, which sources its products from the surrounding area to support the farmers in the valley and protect the environment with short transportation routes, is already a tradition. Once a week on r30 Day, all ingredients even come from within a radius of no more than thirty kilometers - this is when the creativity of head chef Michael Ziernheld and his team is particularly in demand. It is clear how much everyone is behind this concept. When the first elderflowers can be harvested in early summer, for example, fresh blossoms from many of the employees' gardens are brought to the hotel for processing. Fruit, herbs and berries are also grown locally by the GERSTL Unique team. If you would like to take a look behind the scenes of the Gerstl's gourmet workshop, you can do so at the weekly kitchen party. Here, culinary delights are celebrated in a special way and guests are invited to watch the chefs prepare dinner and collect the delicacies from the kitchen in person.
