The Große Walsertal Biosphere Reserve is located in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg and extends in the middle of Vorarlberg in an easterly to north-easterly direction towards the mountainous center of the province. In 2000, the Große Walsertal was designated a model region by UNESCO as a "biosphere park" due to its particularly outstanding and diverse nature. Bergdorf Sterr: Less than 100 meters from the hotel, the six rustic old wood chalets are arranged around a peaceful swimming pond in a unique symbiosis with nature to form a small mountain village. Four chalets for two people and two chalets for four people captivate guests with their stylish, rustic charm. A successful example of privacy with an open fireplace, private sauna and outdoor whirlpool on the terrace. With their loving attention to detail, these chalets were and still are style-defining in the region. Turchinu Lounge & Terrace is the Resort's main Lounge Bar. "Turchinu" is the Sicilian expression used to describe the color turquoise, that is, the intense blue-green inspired by the marine landscape of the Western Island. The spacious property has 111 rooms and suites in an impressive Art Nouveau building ensemble. The Gästehaus Halenberg welcomes arrivals in the spacious foyer, whose eye-catcher is God Bacchus, carved out of stone and enthroned above a soothingly rippling fountain.
