In 2023, the climate-positive Naturhotel Leitlhof was awarded the title of "Europe's Leading Green Hotel" for the fourth time and can once again call itself an official "climate partner". The hotel also meets the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. The commitment to nature and climate protection includes the energy supply with its own wood-fired combined heat and power plant, electric car charging stations and local suppliers.

South Tyrolean slow food in its most original form
The cuisine at Naturhotel Leitlhof is sustainable, regional and seasonal. The chefs use freshly picked herbs from their own garden to refine their dishes. The nearby farm "Mühlhof", which also belongs to the Mühlmann family, provides the hotel with many types of vegetables and potatoes from its own fields. These ingredients are used to cover all the kitchen requirements. The high-quality meat also comes directly from the farm - from the hotel's own Angus cattle farm.

Hiking in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites
As a member of "Wanderhotels - best alpine", the nature hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes, mountain and trekking tours. The trails into the world-famous Sesto Dolomites start right outside the door. The hotel's own hiking map with tips from local guides and two certified guides show Leitlhof guests the most beautiful routes off the beaten track several times a week. Since 2023, Leitlhof guests have been enjoying the 3,000 square meter wellness area in the South Tyrolean four-star superior hotel. On at least 5 guided hikes, we, hiking guide Monika and boss Hans-Peter Gassner, would like to introduce you to the diversity of nature in the surrounding mountains, hike with you through blooming alpine pastures and climb over perpetual ice to the region's panoramic peaks.

We would like to accompany you on snowshoe and winter hikes to the idyllic snow-covered places of the Hohe Tauern National Park and show you personally how renewing it can be to walk at eye level with nature.

Under the motto "Your mood defines your food", the Klosterhof offers its guests a multi-course gourmet menu for three different types of gourmet, which has absolutely nothing to do with the classic half-board cuisine from the standard hotel industry. The young and ambitious head chef Sascha Förster places particular emphasis on exciting dishes with influences from Michelin-starred cuisine.
The combination of health and indulgence is integrated into the dishes with ease. Both at breakfast, where a green wall tempts you to use fresh herbs, with healthy lunch bowls in the afternoon, and in the evening, where there is a purely plant-based "Kraut & Rüben" menu based on a vegan diet without industrial substitute products in addition to the creative and cosmopolitan "Chef's Choice" menu, the vital and regional "Bergwiese" menu.

Together with his kitchen team, Sascha Förster transforms the best products from the Alps and around the world into extravagant and unique gourmet creations.
