In addition to the breathtaking surroundings, the indoor area impresses above all with its professionalism and authenticity. The versatile spa and wellness landscape extends over a total of 4,000 m². The extensive pool landscape has a large indoor pool with integrated bubble loungers and massage jets as well as a splash shower. The panoramic whirlpool offers a fantastic view of the idyllic landscape from above. Depending on the weather, the outdoor pool can be used through the airlock. The sauna area has two outdoor log cabin saunas with a natural biotope, Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam baths, Himalayan salt grotto, Kneipp pool and relaxation rooms. There is a separate ladies' sauna area with bio-sauna and loungers in the beauty pavilion. Anyone who takes a sauna, works out or swims laps naturally needs some well-earned relaxation afterwards. Comfortable loungers and double loungers with a fantastic view over the Black Forest and the beautiful sun terraces invite you to relax. There are also quiet islands for two to four people.

For more relaxation, there is a wide range of soothing treatments to choose from: massages, facial or body treatments, baths and wraps or traditional wellness rituals - alone or as a couple. Original Ayurveda from Sri Lanka! Original Ayurveda treatments have been offered at the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee for more than 20 years. The Ayurveda center is integrated on a separate floor of the hotel and an Ayurveda doctor and specialists from Sri Lanka, the country of origin, carry out the holistic treatments. This means you can experience an Ayurveda cure with authentic treatments and experience the traditional philosophy of this millennia-old health teaching. The Ayurveda treatments, which last several days, include consultations, original Ayurveda treatments and the Ayurvedic nutritional concept. The team of therapists from Sri Lanka takes a sensitive and professional approach to the special needs and life situations of each individual guest, making each individual Ayurveda treatment a lasting pleasure.

Culinary: The aim of the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee is to offer hospitality at the highest level. This includes not only the best regional ingredients, but also imaginative creations. The legendary Vier Jahreszeiten gourmet breakfast buffet, for example, provides top-class indulgence, including a wide selection of gluten-, lactose- and dairy-free products. At lunchtime and in the afternoon, Café Gugelhupf invites you to enjoy small dishes and a large selection of cakes from the in-house patisserie. In the evening, 6-course menus with vegetarian / vegan alternatives or delicious à la carte dishes are offered in the panorama restaurant. The restaurant "Am Kachelofen" offers varied buffets with the best from the hotel's home region, the Black Forest, as part of the half-board (open depending on occupancy). Built largely with materials from the surrounding area, the passive house with its floor-to-ceiling glazing blends harmoniously into the landscape. In the restaurant with sun terrace, you can enjoy culinary delights - regional, seasonal and freshly prepared - with a magnificent panoramic view and accompanied by wines from the hotel's own wine cellar. At the hotel bar you can end the day with cocktails and gin and rum specialties . The library with forest view and the wellness garden at the edge of the forest invite you to browse and relax. A lockable bicycle storage room , an e-charging station (for a fee), elevator and free parking at the house complete the offer. WLAN is available free of charge. Pets are not allowed.

The MentalSpa resort offers a paradise of peace and regeneration on over 700m². In the wellness area, which extends over two floors, you will find an indoor pool (approx. 30°C) with panoramic views, a sauna area with Finnish sauna, panorama sanarium, infrared sauna, brine and aroma steam bath and foot Kneipp pool as well as a relaxation room with tea bar and towels for free use. From the spa area you have direct access to the wellness garden on the edge of the Fritschen forest.

We also use Venosta wood as a source of heat in the wood chip system, obtain many of our groceries directly from our own garden or cattle shed and for the rest we try to use zero-kilometer products whenever possible.
