The direct location of our hotel on the lake invites you to go for walks and sporty outdoor activities, and our area is directly adjacent to the 18-hole course of the Schloss Haag golf club. The city of Geldern is located in North Rhine-Westphalia in close proximity to the Dutch border. Trips to the neighboring country are therefore possible spontaneously - also by bike, because the Lower Rhine is a paradise for cyclists.
In the See Park Terrassen restaurant, particular emphasis is placed on freshness and top quality. Regional specialties and vitality cuisine form the focus of the seasonally changing menu.
The special location of the hotel on the lake offers the perfect ambience to find inner balance and leave everyday life behind. All hotel areas offer a clear view of the Lower Rhine landscape. This also applies to the exclusive SPA area, to which over 8,000 square meters are reserved. In addition to the unique sauna world with 7 saunas and relaxation areas, a heated outdoor swimming pool and the panorama pool with a view of the lake and the golf course are available to guests. Holistic beauty programs, various relaxation rituals, classic and feel-good massages as well as beauty treatments for face and body make the See Park SPA an oasis of sensual experience. The private SPA suite is available to guests for an individual SPA experience. The wellness offer is rounded off by the well-equipped fitness area - also with a unique panoramic view. Professionally trained fitness trainers are happy to support guests with their individual training program and offer daily courses such as Pilates, aerobics and back training. The 24 panorama rooms in our new building offer absolute tranquility and a wonderful view of the lake. When it comes to the elegant furnishings, comfort comes first. Wellness at Hotel BERGEBLICK begins in the Senses Spa and continues in nature. Natureness, the fusion of nature and wellness: that is what we believe in. Our Senses Spa is a little paradise surrounded by greenery, far away from the crowds and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether it's relaxing in the Bio Relax Outdoor Pool and the Bavarian Gumpe or grounding meditation and yoga sessions in the Senses House, you'll find your own personal realm of regeneration in our spectacular outdoor spa. Pure wellbeing also awaits you in the 100 m² Indoor SPA & Beauty, which provides a feeling of weightless bliss with fantastic saunas, panoramic relaxation rooms, the Beauty Lounge and our Nature Gym. Being close to nature is also the all-important factor around our hotel. Thermen Bad Nieuweschans offers the finest in wellness and enjoyment of nature: a thermal bath at 36° C and a park bath with 34° C warm, mineral-rich healing water from its own spring, an outdoor pool, a garden with sunbathing area and a large sauna area invite you to relax. From April to October, the large bathrobe park with hammocks and barefoot path attracts guests.

The hotel restaurant is one of the top 10 in Groningen and one of the 500 best restaurants in the Netherlands.

Thermen Bad Nieuweschans is characterized above all by its thermal baths with warm, mineral-rich healing water from its own spring. In the sauna garden there is a panorama pool, a Finnish sauna and a kelo, herbal and earth sauna. Inside, 3 new saunas have recently been added.

An extensive 10-hectare park borders directly on the garden.
