Since then, we as a family have gone many new ways to preserve this special feeling of home and to reinterpret vacation for you. Our wellness and hiking hotel Gassner **** superior has grown out of the small forest guesthouse - and the pretty Gassner tree house too.

On at least 5 guided hikes, we, hiking guide Monika and boss Hans-Peter Gassner, would like to introduce you to the diversity of nature in the surrounding mountains, hike with you through blooming alpine pastures and climb over perpetual ice to the region's panoramic peaks.

We would like to accompany you on snowshoe and winter hikes to the idyllic snow-covered places of the Hohe Tauern National Park and show you personally how renewing it can be to walk at eye level with nature.

All five senses on the fifth floor: awaken your spirits at the very top of the Bergland! The Sky Spa above the rooftops of Sölden is breathtaking. A 2,200 m² wellness retreat with a constant view of the mountains surrounding Sölden. The local mountain, Nederkogl, a three-thousand-meter peak, greets bathers in the indoor pool as well as in the panoramic outdoor whirlpool. Here you can swim in revitalized Grander water, which is also used throughout the hotel to refresh body and soul.

The sauna area with Finnish sauna, steam bath, bio sauna and textile sauna is a hot spot in the truest sense of the word. Cool down and relax in the varied relaxation and rest areas. Skin contact with nature is the order of the day here: relaxing in the "Heustadel" is a feast for the senses amidst fragrant hay beds filled with hay from the hotel's own farm.

"Signature Treatment" is the formula for inner and outer beauty at "Sky Beauty". There are no standardized treatments, only individual cosmetic and therapeutic applications. The program is put together after a detailed initial consultation and fits the guest's personal needs like the proverbial key to a lock. In 2023, the climate-positive Naturhotel Leitlhof was awarded the title of "Europe's Leading Green Hotel" for the fourth time and can once again call itself an official "climate partner". The hotel also meets the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. The commitment to nature and climate protection includes the energy supply with its own wood-fired combined heat and power plant, electric car charging stations and local suppliers.

South Tyrolean slow food in its most original form
The cuisine at Naturhotel Leitlhof is sustainable, regional and seasonal. The chefs use freshly picked herbs from their own garden to refine their dishes. The nearby farm "Mühlhof", which also belongs to the Mühlmann family, provides the hotel with many types of vegetables and potatoes from its own fields. These ingredients are used to cover all the kitchen requirements. The high-quality meat also comes directly from the farm - from the hotel's own Angus cattle farm.

Hiking in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites
As a member of "Wanderhotels - best alpine", the nature hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes, mountain and trekking tours. The trails into the world-famous Sesto Dolomites start right outside the door. The hotel's own hiking map with tips from local guides and two certified guides show Leitlhof guests the most beautiful routes off the beaten track several times a week. Tip: Hike to the Toblacher Pfannhorn at 2,663 meters.

Since 2023, Leitlhof guests have been enjoying the 3,000 square meter wellness area in the South Tyrolean four-star superior hotel. By bike and train through Val Pusteria/Pustertal
