The Große Walsertal Biosphere Reserve is located in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg and extends in the middle of Vorarlberg in an easterly to north-easterly direction towards the mountainous center of the province. In 2000, the Große Walsertal was designated a model region by UNESCO as a "biosphere park" due to its particularly outstanding and diverse nature. Small but perfectly formed, the BalanceSAUNA invites guests to sit back and regenerate. As is customary at Quellenhof, facilities include a Finnish sauna (for around 35 people) with regular events and infusions, as well as a wholesome steam bath, and a biosanarium with combo loungers where you can either sit or lie down. The outdoor area features a plunge pool and a garden with relaxation corners and a view of the lake.
Guests at the Quellenhof See Lodge can enjoy access to the lake from nearly every point of the estate. The 4,500 m² bathing lake, with a length of 105m the biggest pool in South Tyrol (!) and with depth ranging from 0.5 to 1.25 metres, can be accessed for a relaxing swim from almost any point. In addition to the lake, there is also an indoor pool in the spa area, which is directly connected to the year-round heated outdoor pool (25m in length).

This is why the BalanceSPA offer is complemented by the extensive range of activities and facilities of BalanceSPORT. Thermen Bad Nieuweschans offers the finest in wellness and enjoyment of nature: a thermal bath at 36° C and a park bath with 34° C warm, mineral-rich healing water from its own spring, an outdoor pool, a garden with sunbathing area and a large sauna area invite you to relax. From April to October, the large bathrobe park with hammocks and barefoot path attracts guests.
