Green meadows and gentle mountains surround the charming half-timbered town of Hallenberg in the southern Hochsauerland district. The DIEDRICH Wellnesshotel & Spa was founded here in 1898 and has been run by the family ever since. They have transformed their traditional house into a unique wellness and well-being domicile. Now in its fourth generation, the hotel's hospitality is based on a special concept that offers guests plenty of space to slow down and relax.

The sauna area has two outdoor log cabin saunas with a natural biotope, Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam baths, Himalayan salt grotto, Kneipp pool and relaxation rooms. There is a separate ladies' sauna area with bio-sauna and loungers in the beauty pavilion. Anyone who takes a sauna, works out or swims laps naturally needs some well-earned relaxation afterwards. Original Ayurveda from Sri Lanka! Original Ayurveda treatments have been offered at the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee for more than 20 years. The Ayurveda center is integrated on a separate floor of the hotel and an Ayurveda doctor and specialists from Sri Lanka, the country of origin, carry out the holistic treatments. This means you can experience an Ayurveda cure with authentic treatments and experience the traditional philosophy of this millennia-old health teaching. The Ayurveda treatments, which last several days, include consultations, original Ayurveda treatments and the Ayurvedic nutritional concept. The team of therapists from Sri Lanka takes a sensitive and professional approach to the special needs and life situations of each individual guest, making each individual Ayurveda treatment a lasting pleasure.

Culinary: The aim of the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee is to offer hospitality at the highest level. This includes not only the best regional ingredients, but also imaginative creations. The legendary Vier Jahreszeiten gourmet breakfast buffet, for example, provides top-class indulgence, including a wide selection of gluten-, lactose- and dairy-free products. At lunchtime and in the afternoon, Café Gugelhupf invites you to enjoy small dishes and a large selection of cakes from the in-house patisserie. In the evening, 6-course menus with vegetarian / vegan alternatives or delicious à la carte dishes are offered in the panorama restaurant.
