Bergdorf Sterr: Less than 100 meters from the hotel, the six rustic old wood chalets are arranged around a peaceful swimming pond in a unique symbiosis with nature to form a small mountain village. Four chalets for two people and two chalets for four people captivate guests with their stylish, rustic charm. A successful example of privacy with an open fireplace, private sauna and outdoor whirlpool on the terrace. With their loving attention to detail, these chalets were and still are style-defining in the region. The direct location of our hotel on the lake invites you to go for walks and sporty outdoor activities, and our area is directly adjacent to the 18-hole course of the Schloss Haag golf club. The city of Geldern is located in North Rhine-Westphalia in close proximity to the Dutch border. Trips to the neighboring country are therefore possible spontaneously - also by bike, because the Lower Rhine is a paradise for cyclists.
In the See Park Terrassen restaurant, particular emphasis is placed on freshness and top quality. Regional specialties and vitality cuisine form the focus of the seasonally changing menu.
The special location of the hotel on the lake offers the perfect ambience to find inner balance and leave everyday life behind. All hotel areas offer a clear view of the Lower Rhine landscape. As the Moselle is considered the most important wine-growing region in Germany, head chef Kristof Nemes compiles the entire menu in close collaboration with hotel manager Marcel Burbach, who is a proven wine connoisseur and lover. Betty Langner, probably the coolest barkeeper on the Moselle, mixes the best drinks with personal finesse.

Every week there is an evening wine tasting with South Tyrolean wine producers in the shelter as well as various wine tastings with the sommelier in the DolceVita Resort Lindenhof. The wine rally inspires with three Vinschgau vintners and a product tasting in the organic farm shop. Our chefs use high quality and sustainably produced ingredients from the region.
In the Lindenhof Lifestyle DolceVita Resort, 70 rooms and suites await you, including some with sleeping in the open air, with modern and elegant furnishings, especially made from local larch.

Its secluded location at 700 meters provides the necessary distance from everyday life. Up here, surrounded by meadows and forests and a few scattered old farms, the clocks go slower. It's as if the good old days are hiding up here. You can forget the hustle and bustle and stress, they don't come up here. The Watzmann outside shows us how it's done - calmly reminding us of what's really important in life: Taking time for yourself and your loved ones. At the 4-star superior hotel, you are always in the right place. This starts with the hut-style reception. Of course, the hotel has modern card keys, but there are still a few of the beautiful old key rings with the family crest hanging on the hooks. Tradition combined with modern comfort is how you could describe the style of the Alpenhof. This can also be seen in the Almbar, which has much of what is commonly understood by Bavarian coziness. The restaurant area is more elegant. Here you can enjoy the sumptuous breakfast buffet and the magnificent view outside. In the evening, there are various menus to choose from.

The comfort rooms are designed in a variety of ways, sometimes in a modern, sometimes in a classic country house style. The feel-good Sauna-Alm is really rustic, as the sauna area is reminiscent of cozy alpine huts and Stad'l. The infrared cabin made of Swiss stone pine provides gentle deep warmth, the steam bath is filled with wonderful brine and herbal mist and perhaps the best thing to do after a sauna session in the Hütt'n sauna with a view of the valley in winter is to rub yourself down with powder snow in the sheltered outdoor area. Afterwards, you can retreat to the relaxation rooms, which are designed like tunnels in a salt mine or old barns, where you can relax wonderfully. The adjoining wellness oasis offers an all-round pampering program. The various massages and treatments provide true wellness pleasure. In addition to classic massages, there are Far Eastern SPA massages, Ayurveda massages and special massages for expectant mothers. The cosmetics department uses the organic cosmetics line from Dr. Spiller, an effective skincare line from the region.

Next door in the indoor pool, you should definitely take a leisurely lap on your back and take a look at the hand-carved wooden ceiling. This ancient carpentry technique is no longer found very often. Small carvings on the pillars look very elegant - which is typical of the Alpenhof. Tradition meets modernity and rustic meets elegant. In the outdoor pool, hot meets cold, at least when it's winter and you can swim through the snow-covered landscape. The outdoor pool is heated to a pleasant 30°C all year round, as is the pleasantly warm 37°C whirlpool.

Afterwards, you can lie down in the sun pavilion, look out over the meadows and forests to the mountain peaks and relax. Here, unwinding becomes a tangible reality. And if you haven't had enough exercise while hiking, you're sure to find it in the fitness room with Techno-Gym equipment. Behind the Alpenhof is the Zapletal family. While Stefan Zapletal looks after the hotel with its 52 rooms, his wife Gabi, a trained chef, is in charge of the kitchen. But the most important thing for both of them is their staff. "We provide the frame, our employees paint the picture," says Stefan Zapletal, who is happy to have such a strong team. After all, guests should simply feel at home in this beautiful hotel in the midst of glorious nature.

Several hiking routes in the nature park Texelgruppe are available right at our doorstep.
With hiking routes of altitudes between 300 and 3.000 meters, Algund offers something to mountain pros as well as hobby hikers.
Many relaxation areas for couples and families can be found at Das Dorner.  The infinity pool on the roof terrace (adults only), the outdoor pool in the palm garden and the indoor pool provide the necessary refreshment. 
 In the Sky Spa’s panoramic sauna, you will be heated up.  Sauna infusions are offered daily.
