You can also indulge yourself in our temple of pampering, the LaVitaSpa, with a wide range of treatments such as Maria Galland, Team Dr. Joseph and Ayurveda.
In the separate Family Spa, even the youngest guests have the opportunity to gain their first wellness experiences. They enjoy the warmth, the relaxing music and the sensual fragrances that fill our Family Spa, as well as the gentle children's massages and beauty treatments. Children have their own baby pool with mini slide and a textile sauna. Guests of all ages also have access to the indoor pool with direct access to the heated outdoor pool. Families and couples alike can find relaxation in our hotel. For children aged 3 and over, we offer loving care and a varied program 7 days a week all year round. Experience the beauty of the Martell Valley, the impressive view from the St. Martin cable car in Latsch or enjoy a ride on the Tarsch chairlift. The trails around Latsch make the hearts of mountain bikers beat faster. Our free bike rental gives you the opportunity to start various tours directly from the hotel.

The whole thing is rounded off with plenty of indulgence, because in order to offer our guests a delicious time, we have the so-called Soft All Inclusive concept at the Paradies. Starting with a hearty breakfast for a good start to the day, the inviting afternoon buffet with salads, soups and pasta dishes and the gourmet dinner with five or seven courses leave nothing to be desired. And to accompany these enjoyable moments, the Hotel Paradies wine cellar offers over 400 different fine wines to round off the gourmet experience, add the finishing touches to your perfect day and send you happily to bed.

In the morning the sun rises over the peaks, in the evening the lights sparkle in the valley. In this absolute top location on a sun-drenched south-facing slope above Burgeis, every corner of DAS GERSTL Alpine Retreat opens up views that you will never forget, just like the warm, down-to-earth hospitality of the owner family Gerstl.

At 1,500 meters above sea level, guests can enjoy pleasant temperatures even in the warmer months, while relaxing in the open air on box seats by the 18-meter-long, year-round heated infinity pool, on cosy day beds or in the outdoor whirlpool in the sauna garden. Relax, read a good book, take a dip in one of the pools, let your gaze and thoughts wander - all of this is possible at Hotel Gerstl.

The exclusive suites also invite you to do nothing. The new 60 square meter pool suite with a private infinity pool and whirlpool, a large veranda and its own garden for undisturbed togetherness is certainly a special experience. The pleasant vacation feeling of lightness and light-heartedness spreads at the latest during a floating aperitif in the cool water.

If you do want to leave the retreat, there are hikes to nearby Switzerland, mountain bike trails, irrigation canals along historic irrigation channels or a visit to the smallest town in the Southern Alps: the medieval town of Glurns. The Gerstl team also offers daily guided excursions, from guided e-bike tours to joint forest bathing.

After a day full of activities and fresh mountain air, the evening ends with a delicious, multi-course meal. For all their innovative spirit, the Gerstl family relies on tried and tested dishes: the hotel's regionally oriented cuisine, which sources its products from the surrounding area to support the farmers in the valley and protect the environment with short transportation routes, is already a tradition. Once a week on r30 Day, all ingredients even come from within a radius of no more than thirty kilometers - this is when the creativity of head chef Michael Ziernheld and his team is particularly in demand. It is clear how much everyone is behind this concept. When the first elderflowers can be harvested in early summer, for example, fresh blossoms from many of the employees' gardens are brought to the hotel for processing. Fruit, herbs and berries are also grown locally by the GERSTL Unique team. If you would like to take a look behind the scenes of the Gerstl's gourmet workshop, you can do so at the weekly kitchen party. Here, culinary delights are celebrated in a special way and guests are invited to watch the chefs prepare dinner and collect the delicacies from the kitchen in person. If that's not enough, book an exclusive evening at Gerstl's Chef's Table in the middle of the action in the hotel kitchen.

The extent to which the family is rooted in the region is illustrated not only by the r30 philosophy in the food, but also by its continuation in other areas: Building materials are sourced locally wherever possible and are processed by local craftspeople, the cosmetic products are made from regional ingredients and even the staff almost all come from within a radius of just 30 kilometers.

Heaven & Hell is the name of the spectacular, free-floating, two-storey wellness platform in steel construction, which is connected to the hotel's relaxation room via a delicate footbridge and offers guests new perspectives of well-being. The view sweeps far across the valley and mountains to the most beautiful natural wonder in the world: the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the pleasantly warm water of the lounger or seated whirlpool on the upper floor gently caresses the body, those seeking peace and quiet sink into the beauty of nature and believe they have arrived in heaven. One floor below, where gravity seems to have been defied, wellness is turned on its head. In Hell, as the nude area is called, it gets really hot. In addition to two saunas and a nude whirlpool, guests can expect a cold chamber and, of course, a heavenly view of the mountains.

The Bavarian Forest is known as Europe’s most beautiful low mountain landscape, remarkable natural park in Germany and impressive magic forest in Bavaria. When speaking of the forest itself, it is usually meant the breathtaking cultural landscape in the east of Bavaria on the border to Bohemia. Endless hiking trails in untouched nature and a wide range of leisure and cultural activities in every season have made the Bavarian Forest one of the famous family holiday regions in Germany.
