The Bavarian Forest is known as Europe’s most beautiful low mountain landscape, remarkable natural park in Germany and impressive magic forest in Bavaria. When speaking of the forest itself, it is usually meant the breathtaking cultural landscape in the east of Bavaria on the border to Bohemia. The winter in the Bavarian Forest is like a wonderland of forest and snow. The 5-star sports and pleasure hotel Silvretta in the heart of Ischgl has been run by the Zangerl family since it was established in 1930 and has retained its family atmosphere to this day.
