For over 30 years, the Dr. Manfred Maus family has been running the 4* Superior Hotel PFALZBLICK WALD SPA RESORT with a keen sense for their guests and the treasures of the region. True to the motto "Recreation is celebrating the break", the house started 2019 with extensive innovations and impresses with a 55,000 square meter garden area with adjacent, in-house forest area including a natural bathing pond, outdoor sauna island as well as a new two-story panorama house with year-round heated outdoor infinity pool and extensive relaxation zones. In the garden wing of the resort facility, guests can also look forward to 14 new double rooms "Lindelbrunn", five new spa suites "Römerfels" with private spa and the family spa suite "Römerfels". The resort offers an extensive range of both mental wellness and activity programs, as well as culinary delights from the upscale regional cuisine of the Palatinate and Alsace. Like the existing penthouse suites, all are equipped with their own whirlpool on the balcony or covered terrace, as well as their own Finnish sauna, which can also be used as an infrared cabin.

Numerous premium themed trails invite active nature lovers to hike, bike and explore the impressive landscape of the Palatinate Forest and Alsace. The premium hiking trail Dahner Felsenpfad or the Dahner Rundwanderweg lead directly across the resort's property. Impressive red sandstone formations and historic castle ruins can be found along the Legend Trail or in the Pfälzerwald-Nordvogesen Nature Park and Biosphere Reserve. Exciting insights into the world of wolves can be gained by animal lovers of all ages on the wolf nature trail. At the same time, the hotel's two restaurants lovingly craft regional and fresh ingredients into sophisticated dishes and offer plenty of variety with seasonal menus and an in-house pâtisserie. A variety of dishes is also available for vegetarians, vegans and allergy sufferers. The highlight of the culinary vacation day at the PFALZBLICK WALD SPA RESORT are the varied theme buffets and menus in the evening. The in-house vinotheque rounds off the culinary offer with 170 top wines from the Palatinate and Alsace. At the weekly wine tasting with host Dr. Manfred Maus, wine lovers can sample the fine wines before ending the evening at the cozy hotel bar in the Kamintreff Altdahn.

With only 26 accommodation units, this luxury hideaway is one of the smallest 5-star hotels in South Tyrol. The choice ranges from stylish suites to prestigious lake-side suites with direct access to the lake and four premium villas (one of which is on two floors) surrounded by the deep blue waters of the lake. These villas feature an exclusive highlight: a large wellness terrace equipped with a Finnish sauna, a private pool with integrated whirlpool, loungers and a private hammock suspended over the water. The See Lodge Spa is a temple of harmony where premium products, advanced treatments and refined techniques combine to ensure all-round well-being and inner balance.

Small but perfectly formed, the BalanceSAUNA invites guests to sit back and regenerate. As is customary at Quellenhof, facilities include a Finnish sauna (for around 35 people) with regular events and infusions, as well as a wholesome steam bath, and a biosanarium with combo loungers where you can either sit or lie down. The outdoor area features a plunge pool and a garden with relaxation corners and a view of the lake.
Guests at the Quellenhof See Lodge can enjoy access to the lake from nearly every point of the estate. The 4,500 m² bathing lake, with a length of 105m the biggest pool in South Tyrol (!) and with depth ranging from 0.5 to 1.25 metres, can be accessed for a relaxing swim from almost any point. In addition to the lake, there is also an indoor pool in the spa area, which is directly connected to the year-round heated outdoor pool (25m in length).

The right balance between tension and relaxation – or exercise and rest – is the secret to a state of inner harmony.
