Bergdorf Sterr: Less than 100 meters from the hotel, the six rustic old wood chalets are arranged around a peaceful swimming pond in a unique symbiosis with nature to form a small mountain village. When speaking of the forest itself, it is usually meant the breathtaking cultural landscape in the east of Bavaria on the border to Bohemia. Endless hiking trails in untouched nature and a wide range of leisure and cultural activities in every season have made the Bavarian Forest one of the famous family holiday regions in Germany.

The winter in the Bavarian Forest is like a wonderland of forest and snow. Next to you a snow-covered tree top, above you the bright blue sky and in front of you nothing but limitless snow fun - this is winter holidays in the Bavarian Forest. The Gästehaus Halenberg welcomes arrivals in the spacious foyer, whose eye-catcher is God Bacchus, carved out of stone and enthroned above a soothingly rippling fountain. Guests can choose between modern rooms and suites in the Halenberg guest house and the tastefully furnished romantic rooms in the original guest houses. The detached Heimat & SPA Lodges on the mountain offer a very individual and discreet type of vacation.

Like the Gästehaus Halenberg, the SPA Frühlingsplätzchen is named after one of the premium vineyards on the Nahe. Covering an area of approx. 3,500m², the SPA is a wonderful place to relax in Finnish saunas, a bio sauna, steam baths, an indoor pool and whirlpool as well as five differently designed relaxation rooms.
