The QUEEN SPA extends over two floors and fulfills all wellness wishes. On the various sun terraces, you can enjoy the 17-metre outdoor infinity pool and a whirlpool while enjoying the best view of the Steinernes Meer. Relaxation rooms and a sauna area invite you to unwind.

NEW from May 2024: The TIARA SPA adults only, an exclusive place for adults only, is enthroned on the roof of the HOCHKÖNIGIN and promises a very special magical atmosphere with a relaxation room, sun terrace, thermal water pool and Finnish sauna.

The FAMILY SPA with indoor pool and sauna is available for families. A wide range of massages and beauty treatments round off the wellness offer.

The free activity program offers variety with singing bowl meditation, yoga, bike tours and much more. The HOCHKÖNIGIN is the ideal starting point for exploring the diverse Hochkönig region. In summer, there are 340 kilometers of hiking trails, excellent climbing conditions and around 20 mountain bike trails. In summer, guests also receive the Hochkönig Card free of charge, which includes free use of the mountain railroads. In winter, guests can look forward to 140 kilometers of interconnected pistes, toboggan runs and numerous opportunities for snowshoe hikes, cross-country ski trails or winter walks.

The Hochkönig vacation region can be reached quickly and safely all year round, whether by car, train or plane. The gondola lift is only about 300 meters away. In summer, the Gastein Valley offers 350 kilometers of hiking trails, mountain lakes, and breathtaking summit tours. Built largely with materials from the surrounding area, the passive house with its floor-to-ceiling glazing blends harmoniously into the landscape. In the restaurant with sun terrace, you can enjoy culinary delights - regional, seasonal and freshly prepared - with a magnificent panoramic view and accompanied by wines from the hotel's own wine cellar. At the hotel bar you can end the day with cocktails and gin and rum specialties . The library with forest view and the wellness garden at the edge of the forest invite you to browse and relax. A lockable bicycle storage room , an e-charging station (for a fee), elevator and free parking at the house complete the offer. WLAN is available free of charge. Pets are not allowed.

Half board: Gourmet breakfast buffet with regional products and delicious egg dishes, afternoon wellness buffet in the restaurant between 13.00h and 16.00h, multi-course evening menu - choose from to to 5-course from the daily changing menu including vegetarian and vegan options. Food allergies and intolerances can be catered for if ordered in advance.
Regionality and seasonality are in the product selection in the kitchen in the foreground . The products used come in part from our own certified organic farm.

Wellness
The MentalSpa resort offers a paradise of peace and regeneration on over 700m². In the wellness area, which extends over two floors, you will find an indoor pool (approx. 30°C) with panoramic views, a sauna area with Finnish sauna, panorama sanarium, infrared sauna, brine and aroma steam bath and foot Kneipp pool as well as a relaxation room with tea bar and towels for free use. From the spa area you have direct access to the wellness garden on the edge of the Fritschen forest.

SPA Treatments
For a fee: Soothing or invigorating massages, skin-tightening treatments, relaxing body treatments and individual personal training sessions are optimally tailored to your needs with mental and health treatments on . Based on the four themes
"Mountain - Lake - Forest - Meadow", the range extends from massages such as full-body massages, including with warm and iced stones, herbal stamps and bee-gold honey, aroma massages, foot massage, back massage and head massage to full-body wraps and peelings, including detox wrap with salt mud and relaxation wrap with fango, to various bathing rituals - alone or as a couple. It combines classic wellness & health treatments with psychosocial counseling from various fields, such as mental & systemic coaching, psychological counseling, life & business counseling, burnout prevention, as well as nutrition & exercise training. In addition, health, resilience and regeneration measurements are carried out using medical biofeedback, e.g. in the area of heart rate variability (HRV), sleep apnea measurement, as well as training in the area of regeneration, including respiratory sinus arrhythmia, breathing training and mental, emotional and physical relaxation training. The aim of is to sustainably improve the quality of life with individual and personalized short-term interventions in the protected setting of a wellness vacation in a relaxed atmosphere.

Five days a week, we invite you on a special culinary journey of discovery through ...liebes Rot-Flüh, where you can dine in our restaurants at no extra charge. Start your day with an unobstructed view of Lake Haldensee in our breakfast room. The aroma of fresh bread and pastries fills the air. Our breakfast chef will prepare eggs from happy chickens from the region for you or you can try our deliciously healthy porridge, which provides plenty of energy despite being low in calories. At lunchtime, you can dine in the Grotto Vale Pino or on the pool terrace, where quality Alpine products are prepared with plenty of Mediterranean sophistication. In the afternoon, you can enjoy coffee and a variety of cakes from our in-house patisserie in the Montanara Hall. In the evening, you have a free choice between gastronomic excellence in "La Cascata nobile" or a delicious 3-course menu, which you can select from our a la carte menu in the "Via Mala" experience restaurant.
