Turchinu Lounge & Terrace is the Resort's main Lounge Bar. "Turchinu" is the Sicilian expression used to describe the color turquoise, that is, the intense blue-green inspired by the marine landscape of the Western Island. The panoramic terrace extends outside the bar and overlooks the Resort’s inner courtyard. It is decorated with the exact same shades of light blue green, the mere sight of which induces peace and serenity to the mind, allowing the body and mind to relax.

Enjoy this fascinating panorama poolside at our Citrus Pool Bar while savouring a refreshing summer drink lying on comfortable oversized loungers or sitting on fun blue majolica stools in the pool. The spacious property has 111 rooms and suites in an impressive Art Nouveau building ensemble. The Gästehaus Halenberg welcomes arrivals in the spacious foyer, whose eye-catcher is God Bacchus, carved out of stone and enthroned above a soothingly rippling fountain. Guests can choose between modern rooms and suites in the Halenberg guest house and the tastefully furnished romantic rooms in the original guest houses. The detached Heimat & SPA Lodges on the mountain offer a very individual and discreet type of vacation.

Like the Gästehaus Halenberg, the SPA Frühlingsplätzchen is named after one of the premium vineyards on the Nahe. Covering an area of approx. 3,500m², the SPA is a wonderful place to relax in Finnish saunas, a bio sauna, steam baths, an indoor pool and whirlpool as well as five differently designed relaxation rooms. The wellness offer is complemented by outdoor attractions such as the Hubertus sauna, the 20-metre-long heated outdoor pool and the SPA garden by the river. The traditional building from 1446 has been 90 percent renovated in recent years - the popular historic corners of the Parkhotel Adler, such as the parlor in the "Adler Stuben" restaurant, have been preserved. Countless locations on the 70,000 square meter estate with a small lake invite you to linger in comfort. These include the stylish hotel lobby with integrated bar and conservatory, the sunny restaurant terrace and the benches in the park with woodland and duck pond.

The park of the boutique resort hotel proves to be a rare refuge. It also forms the green backdrop for the modern glass construction of the wellness pavilion and the outdoor pool area with lounge and sunbathing lawn. Relax in the bright indoor and outdoor lounging areas of the wellness area or in the hip outdoor lounge with a cocktail. Both pools offer views of nature and are heated all year round. Whirlpools complete the facilities. A visit to the earth-fire sauna or the new steam bath is an atmospheric experience.

The rooms for massages and facial and body treatments have a fresh design. The PureWellness area is managed by experienced make-up artist, beautician and hairdresser Christine Homburger. Choose one of the 64 accommodations in an elegant boutique hotel style - all recently renovated. No two accommodation units in the hotel are the same - some have a balcony or terrace with a view of the greenery. The accommodation is located in different parts of the Black Forest House dating from 1639 or in the Belle Époque main building from the 19th century.

In the five individually designed rooms of the "Adler Stuben" restaurant in the Schwarzwaldhaus, Baden specialties and international seasonal dishes are served - in the very own interpretation of kitchen director and spice sommelier Bernhard König, who comes from the region and is committed to the Slow Food® philosophy. The direct location of our hotel on the lake invites you to go for walks and sporty outdoor activities, and our area is directly adjacent to the 18-hole course of the Schloss Haag golf club. The city of Geldern is located in North Rhine-Westphalia in close proximity to the Dutch border.
