The Spa am See is located between the two buildings that make up the Wellnesshotel Ritzenhof. The underground wellness oasis opens directly onto the shore of Lake Ritzensee with a private sunbathing lawn. There you can doze in one of the shell and floating loungers with the sound of the reeds in your ears. An indoor pool, Finnish sauna, textile sauna, steam bath, sanarium, infrared cabin and massages or beauty treatments tailored to your individual needs await you in the spa by the lake.

In winter, the cross-country ski trail runs right past the spa and provides access to the region's extensive network of trails. Some people also chase their childhood memories on ice skates on the frozen Ritzensee or simply warm themselves by the flickering fire.

The stylishly furnished rooms and suites are deliberately kept simple; nothing should distract from the essentials. An established hotel: the Riedlberg has been owned by the Graßl and Mühlbauer families since 1912 and has been carefully expanded from a small mountain inn to a 4-star superior wellness hotel, yet has remained manageable with 58 rooms and suites.
The secluded location in the middle of a large forest estate guarantees heavenly tranquillity and pure, clean air. The unspoiled landscape invites you to take long hikes in the pristine landscape of the Bavarian Forest as soon as you arrive. Since 2020, our guests have also been able to rent e-mountain bikes or an e-car for excursions directly on site.
Our feel-good dreamland covers 5000 square meters with indoor pool (31°) and whirlpool (36°), year-round infinity pool (31°), as well as year-round brine pool (36°).
